This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Nux Vomica 200 as follows and report back after 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

There are many quarries regarding leaving the habit (!) of masturbation on the forum. It appears that there is feeling amongst many people that it is a very very bad habit or a sin.
It needs to be understood that it is a very natural & harmless process of reducing the sexual hunger that is as natural as taking food when hungry, drinking water when thirsty and so on.
I feel all the learned & experienced doctors on the forum must clarify this point in a very positive way so as to prevent all youngsters feeling undue guilt & harm their health.
In my personal opinion there is no need of any medication for masturbation as it is not a disease & not even a symptom of any disease. It is just a natural response to a physiological need of the body.I earnestly request all the learned doctors to kindly respond in a positive & pragmatic way. Thanks in anticipation!!

I have often made this exact point Daktersaab. Masturbation is not a disease, not a symptom of a disease anymore than any natural bodily function is a symptom. It only becomes a symptom when it is exaggarated or is out of proportion in some way. Any natural function can then be considered an aspect of disease, but you wouldn't stop people from having that function - would you stop people from eating, breathing, sleeping? Would you say to an insomniac - the answer is to give up sleep, to a bulemic - give up eating?

It is important as homoeopaths to be objective and unpredjudiced, and not to force our own views, moral or religious on others.

We need to see past those social restrictions, past our own upbringing and even our beliefs, to hear only the suffering of the patient. We do not need to make them be or do anything because we believe it to be right, simply hear their pain, find the remedy, it will correct whatever is not right within them, in the way that is natural and appopriate for them. Our role is not to stand in judgement over their behaviour, is not to make decisions about what must be changed in them. The vital force will do it when we give the remedy that matches their state.
