The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Home remedies/wisdom/teachings

I was wondering if any of you are would like to share any home remedies with the forum.

Or nuggets of advice or wisdom that you have learned that could benefit others.

Astra you shared your experiences with Broccoli juice and that got me thinking what in our kitchens or cupboards could we use in a bind along with homeopathy to help heal?

Life can be rough and I find that when I stumble upon something like Passkey's recipe for cough syrup, simply brilliant, it makes life a bit simpler.

Bless.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
an egyptian friend once told me to try thyme tea for coughs and digestive problems (any mucus membrane 'disturbance/excitement') this works wonders. The arabic recipe is made with their wild thyme (zaater I believe) but I find the ordinary dried thyme from my kitchen cupboard works just as well!
Most herbals add the caution that you should not take too much internally, so I sip from one or 2 cups only daily when I have the problem.
Also - a cabbage leave (bruised) in the bra for mastitis..........

Its anecdotal , but my deceased father in law knew a shepherd who had diabetes and never touched insulin-- BUT - all he ate was cabbage!.

Blessings to both of you for sharing. All of this went into my notebook.

I look forward to even more advice.

Even if it has not to do with food or herbs.

Bless,
