Bulimia/Migraines

I am currently trying to help a friend. She is brunette, 35, overweight (all her life, mainly because of the volume of food she eats) and has been prescribed Prozac in the past to help with binge eating and deliberate vomiting. She stopped taking the prozac some time ago since she felt that putting so many chemicals in her body with little result could not be helping her. (Good for her!)
As long as she can remember she has suffered with nose bleeds and migraines. Originally I tried to help with the acute problem of migraines. below are the symptoms I repertorised:

Vision, spots before headache
Vision, moving
Head, pain, nervous
Head, pain, occipt to forehead
Head, pain, from mental exertion
Head, pain, darkness ameliorates

When going through the MM I held two other things in my mind:

Generals, obesity
Mind, despairing

Sil and Calc seemed to show best and I first settled with Sil, 30C when a migraine began. She took several doses, but it seemed to have no obvious effect, so back to the drawing board.

Next time we tried Calc, also with no effect.

Then I decided that we should try and broaden the picture. We moved from those acute symptoms to the following:

Mind, self, loathing
Mind, delusions, looks wretched in mirror
Sleep, dreams, being pursued
Eating amm
Vomiting amm
(these last two were the best I could come up with for bulimia)

Head, congestion, open air amm
Head, pain, catarrhal
Vision, spots, floating
Eructation after food

This is where I got really stuck - probably too many symptoms, but they are all very strong in her picture.

Calc, Puls, Sil and Sulph all seem to show.
Because she is'moddy', changeable and weepy and because she is always complaining catarrhal problems on getting her hair wet (she swims alot) I plumped for Puls - 200C for three days.

On the the evening of day 1, which she had spent travelling, she had a brief bought of diarrhoea. Nothing else since.

Although she had not really linked this all together, I have noticed that she has not had a migraine since the Puls. (She was having 1 or 2 a week).

I would be interested to hear reflections on any of this as I am not sure what to do next.

Best wishes to you all.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Forgot some food details:
Hates anything creamy or milky - usually makes her sick.
Loves sweet things, salty and strong food (anchovies, capers etc.)

I have now learnt that she had an adverse reaction to one childhood vacs - swelling of arm followed by fever. Unfortunately she cannot identify which vacs it was.

if pulsatilla has helped then stick to this for now - give another dose if the frequency of migraines increases again. make sure she is feeling better in herself also to confirm it has helped. for now leave and wait.

Thanks, erika.
The migraines do seem to have stopped altogether, despite the fact that she is studying very hard.
However, she doesn't notice any major shift in her mood and her hayfever is just beginning. (Streaming, itchy eyse and nose).
