aggressiveness - extreme shedding - need help

Hello,
I have been suffering from hairloss for the last three years now and have also posted in this forum. I had a time where my hairloss almost returned to normal. Now again it is so extremely severe that today I really cried after washing hair. I am so desperate that I was seriously thinking about leaving this world.
I am female and my hairloss started when I was 37 after a long time of traumatic loss of my partner. Hairloss does not run in my family, my father and my mother who are 80 and 70 years old have a full head of hair, also my brother and my sister who are both older than me.
I had several medical tests done including thyroid, hormones, iron and ferritin. Nothing really worked out.
Together with hairloss I feel sick every morning I get up, have very dry mucus in nose with bloody discharge and took Pulsatilla as suggested here in the forum before. I also suffer from early greying of hair which started when I was sixteen. Now I also have painful cramps in the legs and I feel seriously ill.
Is there any chance I can be helped or do I have to give in and buy a wig and live with getting up sick every morning? I also cant sleep through, wake up from the slightest noises.
I am really unhappy. Please give me your suggestions.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
did you have your medical blood checks done recently or a while ago? did you get checked for pernicious anaemia?
do you feel sick on waking or after eating breakfast? are you actually sick?
the nose discharge - pls describe more.
have you tried arnica for the hairloss?

Does arnica really work for hairloss, because myself and my husband have lost hair, and i know it has been due to extreme stresses in our lives, and the stress is still there but the hair loss has not stopped. I also take vitamin supplements, and we are both in our early 30s.

Hello Erika.
good to hear from you. I had some medical tests over the last three years, the last one done three weeks ago. According to internist there is nothing really wrong. Also urine, thyroid hormones, ferritin etc. were checked. Ferritin always relatively low and does not raise not even after iron tablets. Pernicious anaemia is there according to gastroscopy but Schilling test could not be done (is not done in our country anymore). Vitamin B12 was very low but after injections higher than normal so stopped injections.
I feel sick on waking up, sickness is better after breakfast. Sometimes I feel like vomiting when I get up so people ask me if I am pregnant. Feel sometimes pain for hunger so have to eat constantly during the day but only small amount. Craving for sweets and salt.
Nose discharge worst after getting up, bloody, slimy, greenish-yellow. Rest of the day nose is very dry and mucosa feels swollen. ENT is helpless, allergy tests came out negative. Male hormones (androstendion, DHEAS) slightly too high.
Have tried Arnica over short time. I am not sure whether it can help me in this case.

Forgot to mention that for three days I also suffer from cramps in my legs and my menstruation is overdue for two weeks (not pregnant and menstruation is normally regular between 26 and 28 days).

did the B12 injections raise your iron levels (ferr.)? have you had the B12 level checked recently - I know you said they were too high and you stopped injections but I do now know when that was.

what are your leg cramps like and which part of your leg?at night?after exercise? other?

B12 injections did not raise iron level. B12 injections were not stopped long time ago (one month).
Cramps can be felt all day but started in the morning. Suddenly could almost not stand on leg anymore because of the pain. It is there now all the time but not too strong. Gets worse when walking. Usually very bad cramps in the night, pain makes me wake up.
Blood pressure also too high. Sport or movements make me breathless easily. I am tired most of the time and sleep does not help. Suffer from much stress at work and have irregular meals. Mostly like fish and potatoes.

it would be important for you to get your heart and circulation checked out thoroughly. The cramp symptoms point to this, alongwith blod pressure etc..
the only remedy i can recommend is arnica 6, 3 times daily and strongly recommend you see your doctor to get above checked.

Heart and circulation have been checked by internist three weeks ago. I had an ECG and a test on the "bike". ECG was normal, "bike" showed that I get tired very quicky. He told me nothing could be done for me right now. Did not get anything but was told to come back in a year.

good - i am glad this has been checked out - the cramps sound like possibly intermittent claudication and as they are underlying all the time you should still ask medical advice with this recent symptom.
arnica will help generally with all the symptoms and helps circulation.

the continual cramps and those during the night do not point to the claudication, but the cramps worse for exercise should always be checked out in this respect, esp. if you are also breathless easily.

Hello Erika,

I will try with Arnica. I hope it will work after some times. I am really desperate to be healthy again. Thanks.
