Chronic stomach Ailments

Dear Dr.
I am suffering from longtime stomach indigestion, regular upsets,pain in abdomen, heavy ness and a feeling of of no appetite.There is no feeling of emtyness after passing stools even going to toilet two times a day.
Most of the time there is a feeling of stiffness in abdomes as if there is mild swelling on intestines.
There is pain in both the legs ( below knees)and seems very very slight swelling. The body is energy less feel I get like lying on bed whenever time.
Gonethrough all routine tests but everything is fine except cholestrol is on higher side.
Same is going on since last two years. Face is dull.
Other ailments include
1. Pain in joints ( tendents) of elbow, knee and foot
2. Sinusitis ( under control for which i take septillin tablets)
3. dermatitis ( reddishness with itching) on scalp, face, & chest. Under control as I am regularly taking Kayakalp twice a day of Patanjli Yog vidhyapeet
4. thinning and loss of hair since last 4 years ( density has decreased, roughness increased and lossing from both front sides)
But now I am fed up my body respond to these ailments. i am looking forward for a permanent treatment through Homeopathy.
At present I am taking R37 for stomach but no relief
Other symtoms
- feels cold more than hot
- sweet liking nature
- office job

Looking forward for permanent treatment

Dear Sandeep,

I am sorry to know about your state. Indigestion is the mother of many chronic diseases and is verified by many research. Please stick to the plan for a few months to see the benefit.

First stop R37 and Kayakalp, especially because they dont help you now anyways. Let us improve your assimilation first before Kayakalp could come to help you.

Start with Arnica 30, twice a day, in wet dose (Joepathy). The details of preparing wetdose is given in my profile. First thing in the morning (before brushing) and once before you go to bed (1 hour after your dinner)

Please list your typical food you are taking from the beginning of the day to the end of the day. On gettig that information, I will make diet changes first and then start with actual medicines to improve your digestion. Start with Arnica 30 anyway.

My food habits ( I am veg.)
1. Early morning: 2-3 glass glass of water. then 2 chappatis+ vegetable with tea or corn flakes in milk at 8.30 am. One green tea at around 10.30. Sometimes apple at 11 am.
2.Noon : lunch having 3 rotis with dal or veg. Sometimes curd or butter milk. or Dal rice. one black or green tea at 4 -5 pm

Evening: 3 rotis with vegetable at around 9 pm sometimes follwed by one cup tea.

Night: one glass milk with raisins.

We make sure that flour is having enough fibre by adding extra wheat bran to packed wheat flour.

The indigestion worsens with heavy food ( I eat them very rarely ) or eating outside .
Generaly very simple food.

I do take isabgol husk occasionaly when I feel that nothing is moving in stomach and it is too heavy ( even after eating simple food). though there are no symptoms of constipation. generally stool are bit loose or semisolid but not in proper form i.e small small pieces

Thanks for the update. Please make the following changes:

- Stop tea, both green and regular. It reduces food assimilation

- in the morning, instead of drinking plain water, blend a palm full (lesser is fine)of any edible green leaves (even curry leaves). You can blend green leaves with 1 glass in a mixer and then add another glass of water and drink them. Make sure you dont eat anything for nearly 1 to 1.5 hours. This gap is very important. If you cannot wait in the morning, drink it early enough to give this gap.

- Atleast 2 to 3 days in a week, take only fruits in the morning. No other cooked food. It is very important to add honey to the fruits to stimulate the body.

- during the day, to sustain good energy, take the following drink:
Add 1/4 to 1/2 pommagranate fruit (about 75gm), 'with skin' to the blender and add 500ml of water. Blend thoroughly and filter it.
Now you can add another 1 glass of water and add as much honey as you need to make it drinkable. The bitter taste in the skin is an important addition to balance your food.

Medicine to enhance food assimilation: Take this for one week and report back. Also continue with Arnica.

- Take Nux Vomica 30 in the evening, one dose (may be 30 minutes before dinner)

- Take Pulsatilla 30 in the morning, one dose (may be 1 hour after food or 30 minutes before breakfast)

- Take 4 tablets of Natrum Phos 6x, bio chemic tablets, immediately after food, all 3 times.

Report back after 1 week. When you reply back in a week give the following information:

- Your age
- do you masturbate? if yes, how often?
- are you stressed with work or family
- any other potential cause you know of, for this indigestion
