5 year old- help needed!!!
Hello,I urgently need help with my 5 year old daughter. She has developed chronic sinusitis and has many health issues for the last 5 months.She has a history of GERD as baby,complains of short-lived stomach pains frequently. Generally is a very anxious child, stubborn, sensitive, cries easily. Her sinus began few months ago- she has fevers that come and go, along with cough and green discharge.She looks tired and has dark cicrles under eyes. Otherwise good appetite and energy level.I couldnt take the fevers and I gave in and gave her a 2 week antibiotic treatment. At the end of it, she started to get better, then caught a stomach bug and her sinusitis returned with fever and earache. The ENT wants to give her another 2 week dose and I am completeley against that.
I recently started working with a naturapath who is testing her stool and blood for intolerances and deficiencies and I am supporting her immune system with many supplements.
However this is not enough for the state shes in now- fever, green discharge.
I read a homeopathy book and gave her Pulsatilla 30c a few times, 3 hours apart. Her earache dissapeared. Fever and sinuses persisted. This afternoon I gave 5 pellets of Silicea 30C- her fever since then went down and sinuses a little better. Should I continue with this remedy- what dosing and for how long? Should I give any more Pulsatilla?

You have given your child good remedies. Now you should wait as she will improve under the influence of doses she has been already given. If there is a relapse in her symptoms, please provide the following info.
1.whether she prefers warm surroundings ie whether she likes to be covered or she prefers cold surroundings and open air.
2.whether she has a mild disposition or an irritable diposition. How is her attitude towards her friends and relatives?
3.What other physical problems, if any does she have.
4.At what time she feels better and at what time does she feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.
5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting her problems.
6.How is her thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?
7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.
8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.

2)Very irritable disposition. She loves everyone soo much but is overly senstive with her emotions and lately cries at anything wrong
3)She had gerd as baby- this year she has started to complain of stomach pains,they are usually relieved by bowel movements within that hour. She has huge appetite and lots of thirst but is slim and has belly.She complains of earache and constant nose pain. Her ear temperature is always 99 despite 2 weeks of antibiotics. She has dark circles under her eyes and her eyes are always puffy.

Please help I gave my daughter sulphur 30c 3 pellets yesterday morning and 2 pellets last night- this morning she wakes up with 103 fever and severe body itching and rash all over her body- it looks like a reaction and what should I do now????

So she desires warmth, is anxious, restless, thirsty, with chronic digestive problems including diarrhea (frequent bowel movements). She is oversensitive and exhausted and prone to 'stomach bugs'.
This isn't quite enough information to make a confident prescription on, as this is not an acute but a chronic case. Still, the remedy Arsenicum certainly does have these general features and as an emergency prescription could be useful for her.

Please I don't understand- she was doing ok until the sulphur- this heat rash itching abs fever is a reaction!! Have you heard if this before? How long does it last? She's 5 years old! What can I do to stop this reaction???

I put camphor oil on her body this morning and it helped tremendously. Her body still itches a little but much better and skin is not as red. No fever right now. She has dark bags under her eyes and looks sick. She also complained alot about stomach pain ( but she has this problem regularly)
I gave her the author as the homeopath told me in my post in the beginning. I hope she will not have symptoms at night again and it won't come back- very worried because the reaction was very scary.

So you have given only 2 doses of the remedy to your child? If the anti psoric remedy Sulphur have thrown the symptoms out, you should see excellent recovery in her health in the time to come. Please don't give her more Sulphur now.

Since giving the sulphur as you instructed she still has sweatiness and fever in early morning hours and then it gets better during day- is that a part of the ' throwing symptoms out as you mentioned above' . I am not giving her anything now

Please specify properly whether the response which made you panic started immediately after taking Sulphur 30 or it started after a week? Please specify the dates of dosing for the sake of clarity.

I gave sulphur 3 pellets 2 times a day, the next morning she was full of sweat, covered in itchy rash with high fever. 3 days passed since then, rash is better but there is still some itchy skin but her sinusitis and stomach pain returned which was her original problem.

Whether there was some change in her sinusitis for 2-3 days after taking sulphur? Now we will just monitor her for 7-10 days (if nothing significant happens)and will review her remedy later.
