Trying to remain hopefull - please help

Yesbar(29)female, last year I had dye test done by my gynea. b'coze i had irregular periods and unable to conceive. After this test, had high fevers, and was given anti-biotics 10 days oral, 1 week thru IV but no use, so surgery was done.I was operated upon to remove my left fallopian tube. Dr. said, the tubes r dilated due to infection, and had formed hydrisalpinex. He did n't remove right tube, but cleaned it and put a suture in it to keep it open. Culture tests done.I was diagnoised with T.B , so I had treatment for 9 months. Now, I am concerned, How much damage T.B might have done to my Uterus, Can I conceive naturally or I.V.F is the only option? Can homeopathy help me to regain my uterus state to normal? My peiods r still irregular. Can homeopthy help to keep my only right tube open? may be, i just hope there is some alternative, which could help my right tube become better and healthy. Since , my right tube is fragile I am scared that there may be chance of ecotopic pregnancy. I am very scared to all invasive procedures of allopathy. Please guide me, what should I do? I am desparate to be a mother. Just recently, I saw a homeopath, he prescribed me tuberculin, and Cal Fluo. But I am feeling worse, in terms of body ache, fatigue, also feel little feverish.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you have been diagnosed with TB you should not be using Tuberculinum, In the same way that if you are diagnosed with cancer you should not use Carcinosin.

Hydrosalpinx , where the tube fills with water that cannot find an exit is best treated with Silica 3x-6x.

It is necessary to get the lining of the uterus working in a normal way and the periods nomal to have a goood chance of normal pregnancy.

Thank you Walkin, for your reply. Also, I am not feeling any better since I started taking the medicine. I had asked homeopath the same question, as I have already taken treatment for 9 months, so why do I need to take Tuberculin now. He said, it will clear the whole system (any residual infection) and improve my immunity. So, I started taking it. Ohhh, I did n't know that hydrosalpinex can be treated with medicine and surgery is not must. I wish I had known that......... then i would not have to loose my left tube. Well, thanks for your reply. I was checking the forum frequently, and hoping some one might have answered.

Dear Yesbar,

Your post has touched my heart because of the pure and simple faith you hold in homoeopathy with your troubled health and more importantly you’re wanting of a child to give your love and joy.

I do not give advice what medications to take but give information to help people make a choice (while this is the opposite of what many do) I feel the responsibility of treating someone’s health concern is sacred and requires more then just a conversation. Someone has to take responsibility for your health.

Yet by no means I am criticizing what is done here, as I feel this is a good begging where people can get information and that is what I am trying to help out with is getting information to people.

Regarding your condition of having T.B. is rather a hard disease to treat in general (this goes for all medical field; homoeopathy, allopathy, naturopathy and so on).

You will need to find a homoeopathic doctor who can treat you aggressively, so that no further damage does occur.

There is hope because you are taking steps towards finding an answer, and I do hope that you seek, ask or find a homoeopathic doctor who is medical aware of co-factors that T.B. is associated with and receive a more aggressive treatment then the commonly associated ‘classical homoeopathy’.

If you have had fevers for more then a 1 week, it is not a positive sign and that is why you need a homoeopathic doctor to know when to switch medications and treatment plans as needed.

I hope this helps a little bit, should you require anything else please do not hesitate to post further questions.

Common Sense Doc (Dr.)

Thanks apu_stiffler, It feels good when someone is able to understand you. I am trying to keep my mind open for all the possible options/treatments, which may help me being closer (even an inch)to conception.

Regarding TB, I already has full term (9 months) treatment by allopathy. And I was expecting that, after the treatment and surgery etc. I had, my periods will be normal. But they were not, so I thought I should deal with this problem step by step. So, I saw homeopath, who prescribed tuberculimin. Anyway, I 'll try to find another practitioner.

I posted the same question on another forum, and Dr. replied that it is worth prescribing tuberculimin in my case.

so, now I am again confused.

Hi Again,

I'm writing you back about posting the question on if Tuberculinum prescription was right or wrong, it kinda is both.

It depends on your case and your history; since I only know that you have T.B., went through treatment and have problems still I would say that you will need to use Tuberculinum but not at the immediate onset. You need to treat your imbalance (i.e. why you developed T.B. in the first place and then go on from there).

Homoeopathy is very confusing because many people follow it through a philosophically mindset you need a balance of philosophy which needs to be met by medical knowledge which is really what homoeopathy is about, "If the physician clearly perceives what is to be cured in diseases, that is to say, in every individual case of disease (knowledge of disease, indication), if he clearly perceives what is curative in medicines, that is to say, in each individual medicine (knowledge of medical powers...".

If you post the details of the period problems it may be poss to suggest a remedy that will help.

Thanks Walkin,

1. My periods are usually late (after 2 - 2.5 months). once, like 5 years ago, I started having problems with my periods. They started being late and once they were very long , say, for 1.5 month, but flow was very less. I went to homeopath and he gave me some medicine. After taking the medicine for a week, all of sudden very heavy bleeding started, it also had big clots (that was too scary ). I visited gynea., she said it is just harmonal problem, so she prescribed some harmone pills for 6 months (some thing similar to birth control pills), however, the problem did n't go off completely. And with hormonal pills, I gained weight and other side effects. I think, it is then, when I had T.B infection in my lower abdomen, but it got suppressed and stayed there in passive form. Which was aggravated by dye test(to check fallo. tubes r open or not) and therefore could not be controlled with anti-biotics. After that, my periods were never regular, always late, sometimes very heavy, sometimes normal, with low backpain.
So, currently,
1. my periods are late (after 2 or 2.5 months)
2. lower backpain
3. feverish during periods, but no temprature on thermometer.
4. I feel tired, fatigue
exhausted
5. I also have sleep problems, my Insomnia ,sometimes seems chronic. I take sleeping pill on and off (very rare)Have tried some homeopathic medicines too. These sleeping problems r not related to periods.

P.S:- My mother was also diagonised with T.B (11 yrs. ago, although I was not staying with her(used to see her once a month, because I was at boarding school), but chances are that I was exposed to the infection. But it is very common disease in India, so I dont know .....

* I am also very emotional. Always on the verge of crying. ( these feelings are getting more and more intense - the thought of not being able to conceive makes me feel very very sad ) I am not ambitious and optimistic as I used to be.

* When I was taking treatment for T.B, I used to eat a lot, more than normal routine. I have heard that, sometimes, with prolonged use of anti-biotics there may be sudden change in the appetite of a person.

* I also tend to have itchy vagina very frequently, after periods or after intercourse and low libido.

The hormones were bad news, clots are a 'discharge' which is nearly always good. Were the clots dark or bright.
Itching is indicative, please check out
Caladium
Silica
Natrum mur
see if any of these strike a bell?.

Forgot -- do you get hungry during the night ,
If so check out Psorinum.

walkin last decade
Yes, soemtimes I feel hungry during the night and can not sleep bacause of that.

Should I take the medicine (you have mentioned) one at a time or all of them together.

Thanks a lot.

Yesbar last decade
Yes, clots were dark red.

And about harmones, I don't think I had harmonal problem, I think it was misdiagnoised. The Dr. di dn't do any tests etc. before prescribing them.

NEVER take more than one remedy at a time.

The best bet here is Psorinum 1m -- take one tablet at night for three nights ONLY , STOP and see what results over the next 2/3 weeks .

Hi Walkin

I was away for a while, so could not get back to you.Thank You for your advice. I have ordered Psorinum.
Just curious, as you mentioned that If I was diagoinised with T.B then I shud not be taking tuberculin ( I have stopped taking it since I joined this forum)... May I ask, then when should one be taking it? I was just browsing thru net, most of the symptoms for this medicine contain tubeculosis as one of them.

Yesbar last decade
THe nosode [ a potency made from the microorganism] is the WRONG thing to use to treat the condition.

If there are INDICATIONS but NOT the actual disease then it is ok to use .

So that a case of cancer , might have pointers to TB and then one would use tuberculinum to treat the cancer --- but NOT carcinosin.

walkin last decade
Thanks Walkin

That explains it, just one more question ......
Now, as I have already taken the full treatment for T.B, and was given green signal by allopathy Dr., but my homeopathy Dr. said, the symptoms I am having are because of the side effects of the medicine I took for treating TB. I am just concerned that, before joining this forum I was taking tuberculinum for about 8-9 days, If I am not the right candidate for it, it might have caused some side -effects (bad instead of good), I don't want to get T.B again, neither do I want to eat all those anti-biotics again :(:(. What should I do?

Yesbar last decade
If the TB has been CURED it will not come back. If it does it was NOT cured.

WE have to prescribe on the signs that you give us and on those signs Psorinum is correct.

Look it up and judge for yourself, the choice is yours.

walkin last decade
Yes, you are right. Also, there is nothing I can do now about it. I have already taken this medicine for 8-9 days. If it comes back .... then it was not cured, otherwise it was.

Thank you Walkin, I was just worried..........

I 'll take Psorinum and keep you posted. Thanks once again.

Hi Walkin

I got Psorinum 1m in the form of very small pellets. Is 1 tablet means 2-3 pellets , because 1 pellet seems too small. What should be the dose, then?

Thanks

Yesbar last decade
Yes - if you have the tiny pellets then take 3/5 as a single dose.

Hi Walkin

I never took Psorinum, because last time I posted on this forum saying that I am going to take this remedy I had my periods, and I thought I 'll take this after my periods are over. Because I thought, what if, after taking Psorinum I get them (periods) again. Also, I got my periods this time in time. Should I take the remedy to make sure the regularity for longer term or just wait and watch. Thank You Very Much.

Yesbar last decade
Best to take the remedy after the period stops , and up to midway between .
