The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Love at first site !!!

Haridwar is a place, where River Ganges leaves mountains and enters the plains of North India. Thousands of pilgrims as well tourists visit there each day.

There are two famous restaurants, not far from each other. One day, two years ago I observed that restaurant-I was always full of obese people and restaurant-II has all non-obese customers.

Obese people just like the smell around the restaurant-I and fall in love with it and others (non-obese) like the smell of the restaurant-II.

Two months ago I happened to visit both restaurant in a single day. I was with a couple and wife was obese. We had lunch in the restaurant-II. Lady got very angry and nervous, but got along and ate some food. She said she hated that restaurant in the first sight.

At evening when we were walking to find a restaurant for dinner, she loved the aroma around the other restaurant and said, “Let’s eat here”. Whole place was full of obese people. Husband said let’s go to the other place but his wife got very angry and said, “At lunch I ate the crap and now I happen to love this place and you don’t want to cooperate, you never co-operate”.

Husband whispered in my ear, “Hey, you are a homeopathy goof, find a constitutional remedy for my wife”.

The question is:

Is obesity is a life style or can be cured by this or that medicine?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Obesity is part of the hereditary genetic pattern .

But it is also a faulty Endocrinal system, these are the glands that control the metabolism .

A slow metabolism has a tendency to obesity.

A fast metabolism is thin.

IN the miasmatic sphere it is the syphilitic & TB types that are thin.
-- ( TB is a hybrid that combines Psora & Syphilis)

My personal opinion is that the Thyroid controls many of the obesity factors.

Iodine is one of the remedies that increases the activity of the "disposal" system .

I am at present interested in the power of the remedy Iodothyrine.

No wonder! Fat people are suing McDonalds. Is it because it lured them with aroma they love and fed them what they loved?

I am a frequent visitor to Haridwar and I know which restaurants you are talking about. This idea never came to mind before but I guess you are absolutely correct. Restaurant-I is on the upper road (If I am correct. I think you don't want to name the restaurant so I won't). Even the owner and his sons are obese. Each time I see them I am shocked each time because sons are just fatting up.

Kapil, You forgot to mention that the owner and his sons of the Restaurant-II are very lean persons, actually they need few pounds.

Actually I am pretty sure about the both restaurants you are talking about. In Restaurant-1 food is prepared with creams, butter and butter oil.

Other restaurant (restaurant-2) they even don't use Onion and Garlic, only vegetable oil is used. Taste comes from the herbs and seasonings. (If I believe we are talking about the same restaurants)

I visit Haridwar once a while and it is too obvious about which is Restaurant#1. If the owners are getting fat at the shocking speed, I can’t be wrong. I know it because last time we went there but there was long wait to be seated so we gave up. I have not noticed that clientele is mostly obese but actually you are giving us a point here. One should observe obesity from all dimensions.

Actually I want to know the name of the Restaurant#2, because I love spices, seasonings and herbs.

Yes Harsh that is the point exactly. I am just discussing a dimension of an obese mind. Another thing about the Restaurant-I, a Beeda (Pan) seller’s kiosk is just outside of it (it is usual in all Indian restaurant). Beeda seller is fat too, last time I asked him and he said it is the air around this restaurant, which is making him fat. He sits just next to restaurant exhaust fan. He said anytime he visits his village for a vacation he starts getting losing weight too fast and his back starts paining due to too fast a fat gone.

Obesity is a way of life. Many things are common in all obese people and many things are common too in non-obese people. If Obese people pay attention to these things and make few changes in their life style they can live happily.

Other day I over heard a person yelling at his fat wife, "All these Haagen Daaz (Heavy/Hard ice cream manufacturer) people must be hanged in public."
