pingueculum - eyes

I'm a contact lens wearer, and relatively healthy although tired. My eyes have developed pinguecula - cream/yellow tissue growths either side of the iris. My doctor tells me there is nothing to be done, but I am getting self-conscious about the way my eyes look and they are quite itchy. I've stopped wearing the contacts for now. Can anyone suggest a remedy please?

Ammonium brom seems to be the best bet on the details you give.

Try it low say 3x (6x) twice a day for a week and stop, judge results after a further 2 weeks.

Another possibility is Spigelia - check it out.

Also for tired eyes try Ruta 30c every so often. (or Euphrasia)
