The ABC Homeopathy Forum

How do we know the remedy is acting?

"There may be a “healing crisis” in about 50% of curative prescriptions. This is an exacerbation of the original symptoms, noticeable but usually not severe, within a few days or a week — and lasting a few days or a few weeks.

After this initial period, there may be a return of old symptoms from the past. These are not severe and represent the remedy working through time to clear up old unresolved issues. They are a good sign, not a regression to a weaker state.

A rough estimate of progress can be made by 6 weeks. At that time, we hope to see perhaps 10 or 20% improvement in the overall picture — noticeable but hardly dramatic. After the initial 6 weeks, progress continues month by month."

Dear,
It is not like fishing.Old homeopath are in your mind.
In the old days neither the physician nor the patient were in hurry. They kept on waiting for years ans years to cure the patient, but now the situation has changed, the patient will not allow you such a long time.If he dont get relief in few hours or few days,he will shift to another doctor or to the allopath.Once a patient of mine got some medicine for cough, soon as he reached home,he phoned me that the cough is still there.
Always concentrate, and try to give relief to the patient in minimum possible time.In acute cases the remedy gives some relief in few hours and in chronic diseases in few days not weeks.Any more question wellcome.
