Bad Knee

I'm male and 37 yrs. old. I'm looking for a homeopathic remedy for my knee. Here's some important details about me/my condition:

It is my left knee that I'm having trouble with. I believe it began in August after squatting down for a long time in the yard. It is not exactly painful, but it feels weakened. It is worst when my leg is bent slightly and my weight is put on it. Occasionally, it feels numb or like it will not support my weight. Sometimes there is a slight pain just below my knee cap going up stairs, etc. I suspect that I have either strained or pulled a ligament or tendon (?) but I'm not sure which remedy is best suited for this condition. I will soon be getting new shoes and gel inserts to help ease the daily impact on my knee. Please help!

It feels better when I'm off my feet. I am generally sensitive to heat and prefer a cool environment, fresh air, etc. I go to sleep in the early AM and wake generally prior to noon. I believe I suffer from general stresses like my job, money, bills, family issues, etc. I have borderline high blood pressure, but have not been diagnosed. I also have mild hypothyroidism which is currently not being treated. I crave/eat lots of spicy and sweet food.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try turmeric and green tea, they good herbs to reduce knee pain.

I appreciate the response, Andy. However, pain is not the primary issue. I'm looking to heal/strengthen my knee.

At the moment I'm comparing Calcarea fluorica vs. Ruta graveolens.

Any help would be appreciated!

Which is better for strained/pulled ligaments and/or tendons? Calcarea florica or Ruta graveolens? Or something else perhaps? Please help, my knee doesn't seem to be healing well on it's own.

Thank you.

Please take three doses of Calcarea Carb 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

After 7 days if there is no change you may take Ruta 200 in the morning and evening for 2 days and see how that affects.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
