9-yr old woke up and couldn't walk

The first time this happened, my son was around 4. He just woke up and couldn't walk...doctors said it was 'probably a virus' and that it would go away in a few days.

Fast forward to Jan 3...my son, now 9, woke up and couldn't walk. The doctor said it was Myalgia and suggested he drink fluids like water, OJ, Gatorade and eat bananas etc. It went away in a few days.

It happened again this past week! This time, it coincided with what seemed to be the flu (fever, body aches etc.), but the 4th day of it.

I've researched on the internet and it seems this is startlingly quite common. Many parents have been told it's 'TRANSIENT SYNOVIAL VIRUS' or 'TRANSIENT SYNOVITIS.'

Is there a homeopathic remedy for this? Is there something that if taken, could be used for prevention?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try Nux vom. 200c, two pills three times-- for two days. Report later.

Could he use the liquid? If so, what would the dose be? I don't think he'll do well with pills (no patience).

It'll probably take 5 days to get to me and in that time, he may have fully recovered. Do you suggest anything for everyday -- for prevention?

If the medicine is liquid, you can dose him 2 drops. Even if he's recovered in 5 days, just give him the medicine, so that he'd be benefitted by the medicine and the next episode might either won't happen or will take time to happen again.

In general constitutional treatment will strengthen him against a host of ailments.

Thank you! I will try that.
