Antibiotics for back pain

Found this very interesting article on chronic back pain cure. Wondered what the homeopathic equivalent would be for antibiotics.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Interesting article.

It is saying that due to chronic disc problems, the body grows small blood vessels into the discs
to heal them.

Then, the bacteria are carried thru the small blood vessels and infect the disc and other discs.

The bacteria in question is called, propionibacterium. This is a bacteria on our teeth,
and hair roots, and it is an acne producing bacteria , which usually does no harm.

A. We have other small blood vessels in the body- so why would this bacteria be doing no
harm in those areas, and only doing infections in the blood vessels inside the discs?

B. What if you took the 100 day antibiotic course to kill the bacteria, but afterwards-
is not the situation the same??? There would still be small blood vessels going into a slipped
or damaged disc? so the same problem would happen all over again.

C. It seems that a simple blood test of WBC would show there is some type of infection going on
- but I think the homeopathic remedies selection for what to do here is much more complicated.
Homeopathy looks at the entire person and what is going to activate your
life force to heal this, rather than what remedies act as antibiotics.
Also, the remedy selection has a lot to do with what started this off?
I would suggest writing an email to Dr. Showrav, who helps on here when
he has time, about your case-get his opinion. jashowrav At gmail dot com.

I'm assuming they must have thought about all that you mentioned simone717? It wouldn't have been up for a nobel price otherwise? I wonder if they have tested the antibiotics on people for a prolonged period already.

I must say I have to agree with the points you have made though.

Hi Crab,

If you want to try a homeopathic treatment-respond to
Dr showrav-he is very good at back pain.

On the other-It would not surprise me, if they said the
'cure' or rather the new standard option other than
surgery is to keep taking antibiotics as needed. Just like
they give antibiotics to people with acne, for decades.

There is a discussion on this topic by scientists at: http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2013/may/07/antibiotics-cu...

Maybe you could share your opinions.

thanks for that link. I see some people asked what I asked.

A I think she did not answer the question about blood flow.
It seems the disc after being herniated can get the small blood
vessels going into the nucleus matter. Otherwise disc's have
no blood flow.

It takes a long time for the antibiotic to get into those vessels-
which is why it is 100 days of antibiotics. She just does not
answer what happens to the little blood vessels after the infection
is cured.

B. I found it noteworthy that the bacteria doing these infections
only survive without oxygen and they live deep in our mouth
causing no harm. Yet, if they only live where there is no oxygen, how
are they then carried thru the blood and into the tiny vessels into
the damaged disc material.

Makes me wonder about how the shiatsu, which does create
more blood flow to the spine in a major way, if that is why
it helps a lot in these things, bc these bacteria cannot survive
where there is oxygen- more blood flow-? more oxygenated blood?

bc I have known people with the herniated discs, modic changes,
etc who cured themselves thru acupressure, shiatsu and daily
stretching and they would do acupuncture and chiro from time to
time- the point being they were very active and consistent.
Makes me also wonder about using Arnica long term instead of
antibiotics bc Arnica increases blood flow.

Thanks .

They say the Danish team examined tissue removed from patients and more than 80% carried bugs called Propionibacterium acnes.
