My daughter will be 8 wks old on Sunday and she had been having very difficult feedings. She Is formula fed as I am not able to breast feed. She is on similac sensitive. We have tried sim advanced, sim total comfort and even Isomil, but she refuses to eat those bc they constipated her or she doesn't like the taste so we went back to what we started with which is sim sensitive. Her pediatrician prescribed Zantac for her at about 4 weeks for silent reflux bc she was showing symptoms of reflux without spitting up. She will arch her back in pain, scream inconsolably and cough up and swallow down liquid like burps :( my mother did some research about it and found nat phos 6x. I am ready to try it but need to know the proper dose and instructions. Please advise

Hi, Joe is not on here everyday and you can go to his website,www.joedelivera.com
and email him directly if you wish.

His therapy for this is to use first Natrum Phos 6x cell salt, 1/2 a tablet.
Do not do more than 5 of these in one day.

Joe directs people to use this right after a feeding. The most important
thing is that you are sure the baby ingested the remedy. I think it is easier
to dissolve the 1/2 tab in a teaspoon of water and spoon it into the
mouth or use a dropper- bc you know the baby got it. When it is in
a bottle due to baby spitting up or stopping feeding etc you don't know.

If you find this is not working or semi-working then you can go up
to one full tab instead of a 1/2 tab for awhile and then reduce as
the child gets better. And some people have had it work giving it
before, instead of after a feeding. Give the 1/2 tab a day or so to
see the effects.

Nat phos 6x you have to get in a cell salt form. These look like tiny
aspirin tablets. If in USA they are in Whole Foods, Hylands brand.
You can also order them from Vitacost in the usa online.

If this does not work, there are other remedies to try for this.

Thank you Simone for sharing my default remedy for Baby GERD which I shall copy below. You will observe that I also include the remedy for the mother which is conveyed to baby in the Breast Milk.

It is very likely that your baby suffers from Gastric Reflux aka GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux Disease).

The remedy that has proved to be very effective for Baby GERD is:

Nat Phos 6x dose half tablet dissolved in milk given immediately after a feed. If you discover that baby does not respond to the half tablet you can increase the dosage to a full tablet given after every feed but not to exceed 5 tablets in 24 hours. Please note that you must get the Biochemic Cell Salt of Nat Phos 6x which is always in tablets and not in pellets which is the Homeopathic version of the same remedy and will not help the patient.

It is essential that you burp baby immediately after each feed.

You will STOP all other drugs to enable the Nat Phos to cure Baby.

You will avoid eating all food that can cause any distress to baby. You must know that they are passed on to baby through your breast milk.

You (the mother) will take Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily and Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily. The idea is that your milk will pass the effect to baby. You may like to know that this remedy will also help to reduce your weight by 1kg per week very safely.

Report progress in 24 hours.
