This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The concentrated form of homeopathic remedy is called tincture which is produced by many ways,i dont think we need to go in detail, this is usually called 1x,this is the strength of the concentrate, from this further potencies are made af follow.
1.one part of 1x,add to it 9 parts of alcohol shake it well. The strength of this will be now 2x,take one part of this 2x and add to it 9 parts of alcohol, shake it well. This will be now 3x,keep on doing exactly in this manner you will reach up to 6x and so on.X is called because it is decimal.
2.From original concentrate take one part and mix with 99 part of alcohol, shake it well,it will be 2c,from it take one part and add to it again 99 part of alcohol.shake it well, now this will be 3c,keep on doing exactly in this manner until you reach 200c.
3.In x,the ratio is 1-9,while in c,the ratio is 1-99.
I hope you understand,if not contact again.

In addition to above it is the process of continuous dilution and it is said that more it is diluted the more it is effective and becomes deep acting,in actual fact it is the strength of the remedy,by further dilution the time become when they are immaterial.
