From Bad to Worse !
Im sure all of you outthere are sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have been on antidepressant (Serzone) for over 10 years now. Recently, my doctor put me on Effexor and I went from worse to more worse. This drug is awful for me!! I have other conditions that im sure only aggrevate my depression, but there has to been another way!! I am hoping that this forum is going to lead me in that direction. I have been weaning myself off Effexor for 4 weeks now. The first week I went from 150 daily to 75mg . The next week I took 75 mg every other day. Now im taking half that every other day. My withdrawls are almost unbearable. My body know when to take the next dose as it Craves it. I have a lot of weird dizziness, moody swing, you name it! But one of the many troublesome condtion I am experiencing right now, is this damn itching on my forearms!Has anyone else experience this side effect? How much longer do I have to suffer with this? I thinking about just giving in to going back on the meds....I dont know which is worse the Effexor or the withdrawls from it...Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
