Reaction to BelladonnaHello,
I used this sites Remedy Finder a few days ago to find a remedy for my back pain and after putting in modalities I was suggested Belladonna. I used 200c three times, three doses each time and I reacted with what can be described as almost a normal flu. I have pain in all limbs, a terrible ripping cough in my chest that is worse when breathing deeply and laughing, eczema on the knuckles of my right hand which I have never had in my whole life and pain behind my eyes. Also running nose, fever with cold sweats and some pain in my ears. I have some years ago been given and had a positive reaction to Pulsatilla prat. for emotional, menstrual cycle- and skin-problems and I tried taking them now to see if it would help but it hasn't. Is there anything I can take to help? I have also had varying reaction to other remedies when I went to a regular homeopath.
Thank you in advance!

A. you cannot self prescribe off the Remedy Finder unless
it is for very easy acute ailments where you match the
symptoms to a remedy.
B. You took too high a potency and way too many doses
of belladonna. You are proving the remedy ( having things
you never had) A 200c potency can last at least a couple weeks.
C. you are still having effects and you need to antidote this.
You can try drinking coffee as it is an antidote of bellandonna
and pulsatilla. If that does not help after a couple days or
so try taking 3 doses of Coffee Cruda 30c and see if that
helps. You can also get something like Vicks and rub it all over
bc it has camphor in it and that is also an antidote to belladonna.
D. After you have got this out of your system, you need
a homeopath to prescribe for your back pain or put
your case on here.
