lung malignancy and on vantilator

Few days ago 10-12 day when my mother-in-law was admitted in hospital, she was swollen and gasping. Immediately she was put into critical care. Since then she can regain here conscious and responding actively to the instruction and indicate her ventilator to be removed. Till 15 days ago she was completely normal and has traveled on train on her own with no sign of fatigue or shortness in breath ever. She could climb ladder with 4-5 kg luggage on her own. Now suddenly her lungs is not able to work on its own and she is been put on ventilator. Doctor are saying it is because of lung malignancy for which she showed no symptom. Biopsy is not possible at this stage. Our main aim is how she could be able to breath on her own ? Thanks a lot.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I suggest go to http://www.pbhrfindia.org and work
with those Drs. They work on problems
like this.
