Medicine for ligament / nerve injury in foot

Hi I had injured my right foot while playing cricket couple of months back and CT scan revealed a minor metatarsal fracture which was treated by putting on a fibreglass cast. However I was unable to walk and then my doctor suspected I also had a soft tissue / nerve injury in the foot and prescribed gabapentin. After about 2 weeks of taking 100mg gabapentin twice daily, my pain has reduced and I am now able to walk now and the tingling sensation in the foot has also reduced. I went to the doctor again and he has prescribed Gebapentin for another couple of months. As I understand, gabapentin does not treat a nerve injury and only reduces the pain till the time one is taking the medicine.

Please suggest a homeopathy medicine which is available in India that can speed up my recovery as I need to make a foreign business trip in a couple of weeks which shall involve a lot of walking. I am listing my symptoms again below:

1) Foot injury
2) Pain in almost all the foot
3) Tingling sensation in the foot
3) Sometimes the foot feels if its hot inside and I feel like dipping my foot in cold water.
4) Foot feels very sore.

Thanks,
Gautam

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You may try BRYONIA 30C every 6 hours only for 2 days and then stop to see if it helps you.

Thank you. Could you let me know if this is available in India and can I buy this from a local homeopathy store?

Also could you let me know if SBL's medicine AT 200 would be any good for this?

Yes, it is available in India anywhere. I need to know what is AT 200 first before making a comment.

Your modalities match bryonia so I suggested this remedy. You can try it...no harm.

Thanks shall try BRYONIA 30C every 6 hours only for 2 days first as you suggested. Whats the dosage I need to take?

One dose would be 3 drops of remedy in some 10 ml of water taken in empty stomach. Don't take any food or drinks one hour before or after taking the doses.

Hi I shall be starting Bryonia from tomorrow. The composition of SBL AT 200 is as follows:

Composition:
Arnica montana 3x
Hypericum perforatum 3x
Ledum palustre 3x
Rhus toxicodendron 6
Ruta graveolens 3x
Symphytum officinale 2x
Bellis perennis 3x

Also there is an RHUS TOX ointment which is available.

Do you think any of this would be helpful as well?

Thanks.

All of these remedies cover injury related pains of bones, ligaments tendons and nerves. Superficially, one or more remedy will act from the mix provided the modalities match with any of them.

If you write down the modalities of your pain, I can tell you if any one of these in the mix will work. What information you have provided in your opening thread, Bryonia was indicated.

Thanks Rishi. I don't have anything to add, except that I most probably have a nerve damage / injury in the foot, as per my doctor.

Hypericum Perforatum covers nerve damage well. You can check up the modalities and other symptoms. It may work.

Shall I have Hypericum Perforatum and Bryonia together?

Also please suggest the dosage for Hypericum Perforatum.

No, don't have the remedies together.

First take Bryonia as I have suggested. If it doesn't show response, you can then tell me your symptoms more finely with all modalities. I will check up is hypericum fits your case.
