Unilateral dry eye
Hello, I am 24 years old male and have severe dry eye ONLY IN MY RIGHT eye. Schriemer test shows dryness on my right eye. It has been present for 4 years almost. Can something be done about it?I have read that this (unilateral symptoms) can be caused by deenervation.
Please let me know what other details may I give for better advice.

You take more salt ,you are having flow of water through your nose,swelling under right eye.pl inform you sit more infront of computer and in Ac room pl inform.

Stopped taking extra salt quite some weeks back
My right nose is actually closed most of the times and irritates when I take water through them
I am not sure if there is swelling, may be mild swelliing, not huge
Yes I do use computer sometimes and that makes it worse, more importantly AC makes it much worse BUT ONLY RIGHT EYE

Hello Dr. , this is to inform you that I did feel slight comfort, although I feel such comfort about half the time. But slight improvement was noted.

My symptoms are a little bit better although I still feel much uncomfortable in AC or below a fan.
Basically once my dryness causes pain it remains for a few days and then with rest it gets back to just 'bearable' state.
But the medicine may have had some effect I feel. Please suggest the next step.

buddy though i am not a doc but have been facing extrem dry eyes from five years i am 21 right now...schmr test that you have done is not always correct..can you tell me when it bothers you most like morning when waking up ...i have beem through this condition so might help you ...

nat mur 200 one dose evening time for one day report .if you have 30 dissolve 8 pills in a glass of water stir it well and drink the glass within one hour .

Hi kanavsingh, my right eye looks dry visually anyways, you can see less moisture layer. Its starts at morning on somedays, but not like it bothers most at that time. If I try to open my eye too hard on such mornings, the problem becomes worse.

hey....for me my both eyes were affected preety badly.doctors used to say i have dry eyes and which was getting very painful as time was passing..later when i went to good homeopath he said it is just allergy that blocking my tear duct which in return causes dryness..i got a blood test done i dont remember the name but result was positive..and it took me more than a year of homeopathic treatment i am now 70% recoverd..now atleast their is no dryness in my eyes..
so a peace of advice from is to take it very seriously as eyes can make your life miserable like no other disease..

Hek Kanavsingh Thanks for the advice...please see if you can get the name of the test you did...that would be really helpful...what meds did you take btw...it may be checked against my symptoms...please let me know
Dr.Akash...I took the dose as you prescribed..I could not feel much change although it did not worsen the case...what should I do next...Also can you give some insight on why my right nose is also blocked as my right eye is dry..any co-relation

.Are you snoring while sleeping and also you keep your mouth open while sleeping due to chocked nose? .Morning you will find dry mouth or dry throat or pain in throat .pl inform .

No I do not find dry mouth throat or pain in morning. Eye is kind of harder to open in the morning though.
I am not sure but I dont think I snore. Only my right nose is choked, so I do not keep mouth open. Sometimes saliva does come from the edge of my lips during sleeping, but not so frquent.
Due to eye pain, I have pain on right side of head, above my ears, temple regions during sleeping on right side.
Also when I take water by my nose, the right nose give severe irritation at some nerve behing my nose and eyes (on right side mainly)

Sorry I could not follow the course for some reasons. Now I have taken the medicin as directed by you for 6days. No major change was noted, maybe slight improvement. WHat do I do next.
