Growth on thyroid

My wife, 38 yrs. old, has hypothyroidism. Now has a non-cancerous growth on her thyroid on the right side. She has been advised to have the growth removed, they don't know yet if it is growing. They did draw some wiquid out of the growth, and tested it and it is not cancerous. Don't have any idea what has caused it. She happened to notice it a few months back when she swallowed.
Any recommendations for her? Do you need more details, information? Thanks in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Do not go for operation .

At least until homeopathic treatment has been given a fair run.

my wife isn't going in for the operation yet. It'll be a bit before that.
After researching hypothyroidism, my wife has never shown any of the classic signs. The way they diagnosed her with hypothyroidism was with a blood test and found to be lacking in thyroid hormone. Now she takes synthroid to replace what supposedly is not being made by her thyroid. I'm looking for homeopathic suggestions. We would like to try homeopathy for this if we could get hints or recommendations. Thanks

Give your wife a single dose of Thyroidinum CM and wait for a month or two. No comments of any other person are needed in this respect.

It has been two months after a single dose of Thyroidinum CM. The growth is still visible and may even be growing. Can't really tell for sure. What would be the next suggestion to try?

Mr. Lajaw, don't lose your confidence at all. First you should go for a check-up i.e. T3, T4, FT3, FT4 and TSH then write to us. At present you should repeat the second dose of Thyroidinum CM.

Thanks for the quick reply. As of three months ago, all numbers were within normal range. Synthroid is being utilized. Just took second dose. Wait another two months?

Second dose was given, and a new ultrasound taken. The mass is still growing and now they are showing two masses. Looks like surgery is called for. What shall we do?

Mr. Lajaw, if you are much worried about it, give your wife a single dose of Baryta Carb 1oM or CM and write to me just after two weeks.

My wifes thyroid is now producing at normal levels.
She is off the Synthroid and her numbers are all normal. I am amazed! She still has a 'lump' at the thyroid, but that we can live with. If any change, I'll inform. Thanks very much for your help!

My wife will be going in for another ultra-sound today on her thyroid. Below is from the last exam:

'FINDINGS: The thyroid lobe is approximately 4 cm in length and 1.2 cm in diameter and no mass, cyst or solid nodule identified. The right lobe is larger measuring approximately 4.2 cm in length and 2.5 cm in diameter. It has a very inhomogeneous appearance suggesting replacement of most of the lobe by a large goiter. There is a small nodular area in the isthmus. Similar findings are seen on previous exams.'

They are recommending nuclear medicine scan to see if it is cold and a biopsy so they can rule out neoplasm.

Wife says her neck feels swollen this week. What would be our next move using homeopathy?

Thanks for your consideration.
