Question for Walkin about Syzizium

Dear Walkin,

Kind regards.I was quite intrigued and interested by your recommendation of Syzizium to a patient for enlarged liver and spleen.I know about this remedy and have used it with benefit with diabetics to control their blood sugar. But it is for the first time that i have seen it being recommended for damaged liver and spleen.Would you be kind enough to share your knowledge and experience of this remedy in the cases of bad liver, spleen or other things, which may be of interest to other homeopaths on this forum too.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It would depend on the type of damage.

I was led to it by Compton Burnett and John Clarke.

Their use of Picric Acid for both liver damage and diabetes made me look at it for liver work.

Also the close relation of the endocrinal system to all of the organs means that one cannot confine a remedy to one area in the way that Rademacher did in his Organotherapy.

But obviously one would want some signs of a tendency to a diabetic condition.

Thanks.Does it imply that in a family with a confirmed history of diabetes of the parents and grandparents, and where the children are prone to ailments of the alimentary tract with clear signs of a weak liver and anemia, Syzigium may be of help to strengthen the digestive system.Do you think that in such a case it may take away the predisposition towards Diabetes? Can you share some cases to illustrate its effecacy in such cases?

With regards.

Rajiv
