My Mother 55 yrs old completely paralyzed

Hi Rishimba,

My Mom is been paralyzed and completely bedridden from past 1 yr
She is diabetic ,BP , hypertension patient.
She had brain stroke left side of her brain in July 2013 and right side of her brain before 4 yrs.
She was semi conscious for a month post stroke in July 2013 and now fully conscious.
She was on venilator for a month and a surgery is done called tracheostomy.
She moves her right hand and leg , can't move left , she can't open mouth when asked to and can't talk.
She was suffering from pilestoo.
She is emoitional, sensitive, moody .
Currently on liquid diet via RT.

Below are the answers to your questions

These questions are designed to get the following information from the patient
1. Mental State of the patient : Conscious
2. Physical Ailments : Bedridden , both sides paralyzed. Right side hands and legs can be moved slightly. Cant talk or open mouth.
Only opens for crying and yawning . Tracheostomy is done .
Some pain or some other problem in lower part of the body. Unable to recognize as she is unable to speak.
3. The likely cause for above problems :Stroke
4. The modalities like whether the patient feels well or worse in hot weather, cold weather etc.,
he is relieved by / worsenened by hot applications, cold applications etc . : No specific .. probbaly cold .
she used to sweat lot in hot climate

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?
My Mom is been paralyzed and completely bedridden from past 1 yr
She is diabetic ,BP , hypertension patient.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
She was suffering from piles.
Currently some pain or other problem in lower part of her body, Unable to recognize as she cant speak.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
May be taking tension might have increased BP.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?


5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
BP and Diabetics started more than 10 yrs.
First stroke in Jul2009

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli
(like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
Cold

10. Describe your general mental set up?
Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
Moody, Hardworking, Dominant

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
No , Likes loud songs n all.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc? No

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?


11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?


12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
Likes non veg , spicy , delicious food , specially fish


13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Excessive

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Normal

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?
More , trunk , spinal back

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
She is having constipation most of the times.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
Sleep is not that strong , mostly wakes up with some noise .

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?
Hardworking , Caring , helping and always good to others

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
Diabetic and BP medicines , Brain medicines post stroke in Jul 2009

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
Nothing

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
Before the stroke , she was fair , fat , having smiling face .
Height : 5 ft
At present , she has become very thin. Face doesnot show any effects of paralysis.

Please answer the following questions:
(Please give details of your past menstruation if you have attained menopause.)
- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last? Regular with delay of 4-5 days . lasts for 5 days
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods? some times backache
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive? normal sometimes excessive
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery? bright red
- Do you notice any clots in the flow? sometimes

1. What is the color of her skin on the affected part? Have you ever noticed any affected part with a purplish or bluish tinge?

2. Check her tongue and tell me if its drawn to the left or right.

3. Describe her bright and dark sides of personality, her nature and how she behaved with her husband, children and in-laws when she was young?

4. What are her fears and dreams?

5. When did she menopause and when did she have her first stroke?

6. Did she have any problems during the onset of menopause?

7. Can she communicate her thoughts and sensations to anyone in the family in any way so that it will help in finding a remedy?

2. Check her tongue and tell me if its drawn to the left or right. : she is unable to move her tongue when asked . sometimes tries to swallow water .

3. Describe her bright and dark sides of personality, her nature and
how she behaved with her husband, children and in-laws when she was young?
She was fair , fat and had a laughing face, very hardworking and dominant.
Always loving and good to people around her , very helpful.
She had bad fights with her in-laws and indirectly with her husband too but
still she was dedicated to her family.
Very caring towards her husband and children.

4. What are her fears and dreams?
Dreams to have a bright future for her family.

5. When did she menopause and when did she have her first stroke?
First stroke in 2009 at the age of 50 and menopause approx before that.

6. Did she have any problems during the onset of menopause? nothing identified as such

7. Can she communicate her thoughts and sensations to anyone in the family
in any way so that it will help in finding a remedy?
Yes , she can move her neck , right hand and left slightly so sometimes she indicates her pain if some.
Or moves her leg if the water is hot .

Can she move her leg when in hot water?

You said she used to care for others...was she a very empathetic lady when she was active?

Affected part didnt get you .. did you mean her entire body . as her entire body is been paralyzed

Can she move her leg when in hot water? yes if the water is too hot she indicates via her right leg and in general also she can slightly move her right leg and hand

You said she used to care for others...was she a very empathetic lady when she was active? yes

What is the effect of weather on her sufferings? she used to sweat a lot in summer

She is having some pain in her lower part of her body.
She is unable to sleep straight and while she is straight she cant keep her right leg straight.
She is atpresent comfortable on left side while sleeping.

Does she feel any restlessness in her limbs?
We are unable to identify if any

What kind of weather does she prefer to be in generally?
She is restless in summer.

How does she generally feel in a warm bed?
We havent tried keeping her on Warm bed .
But she dont like any warm clothes to wear.

Please try LACHESIS 200C two doses on a single day, each dose 12 hours apart.

Wait for 10 days and carefully note any changes in her symptoms.

One dose would be 3 drops of remedy in some 10 ml of water sipped up in empty stomach.

No food or water one hour before for after.

Where I will find these medicines .

Currently allopathic medicines are going on.
So shall we stop that .

She cant take this from mouth so via RT is it feasible to have .?

Why is she taking allopathic medicines? Is it for any specific reason apart from the pains or paralytic affections?

This has to be taken through mouth.

Allopathic medicines are for BP , Sugar and some of them for Blood circulation to the brain.
and She cant swallow and cant open her mouth also except crying and yawning
So cant be taken through mouth.

How is she taking medicines for BP and Sugar? Is it intravenous?

You can buy Liquid form of the remedy of a reputed brand from a homeopathic shop in your city or you can get it online as well.

One dose would be 3 drops of remedy in a teaspoon of water. Or place 2 to 3 drops on her tongue. Let it get absorbed. Swallowing is not required.
