cervical spondylisis

My mother who is 60 years old is suffering from cervicalspondylisi. Last week she complained of diziness and was and is still admitted to the hospital. She has pain in her neck radiating into her shoulders. The doctors have done a MRI and have found out that her spinal cord has problems.
She has been advised complete bed rest for 2 months.
She has been having this problem on and off from nearly 10 yrs. Nothing seems to be working. Is there any homeo treatment that she can use/take to help alleviate her conditions.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have used Rhus Tox 30c in the wet dose successfully to help Cervical Spondylosis.

I shall detail the method of using Rhus Tox 30c below:

Get a 500ml bottle of spring water
Pour out 100ml
Put in 3 globules or 1 drop if you have the liquid remedy.
Hit the bottle hard on your palm or a cushion and watch for the water to fizzle like when you open a bottle of soda. You may also twirl the bottle in your palm and look out for the bubbles which is the secret of succussion which makes the remedy more effecive for long term use.
You should succuss it every time before each dose at least 6 times.

Sip a teaspoonful twice daily and report response in a week.

No coffee, cola drinks please.

I suggested Rhus Tox 30c for her Cervical Spondylosis which I thought was her chief ailment.

For her Vertigo, I believe that Arnica 1M in the water dose can help. This remedy will improve the circulation of blood in her brain and will hopefully help to stop her vertigo.

The method of preparing the remedy is the same as used for the Rhus T. Please note however that one teaspoonful of the remedy may only be used just once daily.

She should notice some improvement in her condition within a week when you can post her response.

HOMEOPATHY WORKS WELL ON SPONDYLOSIS
Homeopathy has helped to cure many cases of cervical spondylosis and often makes the use of the cervical collar unnecessary, writes Dr. Phiroze Sahiar
Cervical spondylosis is degeneration or protrusion of the cervical disc in the spinal column. Cervical discs are situated in between spinal bodies. They serve as shock absorbers and also provide viability and flexibility to the spinal column.
In 80 per cent of cases the protrusion is due to injury and there is either a history of sudden severed strain, or the patient's occupation is one in which there is strain on the neck muscles, such as with porters, firemen, packers, etc. This condition is therefore more common in males.
In the rest of the cases, the spondylosis is due to degeneration and there is no history of injury. This condition is therefore more common in elderly people.
The protrusion of the cervical disc is most common between the fifth and sixth (5/6) and between the sixth and seventh (6/7) cervical vertebra. This is because this is where most of our neck movements take place.
The complaints of a patient may come about gradually or suddenly. In most cases there is a history of injury.
The patient complains of a stiff neck. Gradually, there is pain in any or both the upper shoulders and arms, characteristically along the distribution of a particular cervical spinal nerve, which gets compressed due to spondylosis. Tingling and numbness in the hands are also common complaints and the movements of the neck are usually restricted.
There are many people who have cervical spondylosis but do not suffer from the symptoms associated with it. In fact, when at first the symptoms appear, the person feels he is suffering from a muscular strain. Some even go to the extent of thinking that they are having a heart attack!
Homeopathy helps to cure many cases of cervical spondylosis in a remarkably short time and often makes the use of the cervical collar unnecessary. Physiotherapy and neck mobility exercises are also helpful in reducing the pain.
Important Homeopathic remedies for cervical spondylosis are:
Kalmia: A remedy which is used with great success in cervical spondylosis. There is pain shooting down the arms with numbness. There is also pain in the heart region which sometimes makes the patient feel he has heart trouble.
Pain in the neck running down the arms, is the characteristic symptom for which this remedy is indicated.
Cimicifuga: This remedy has a wide action on rheumatism and is specially useful in women who suffer from uterine complaints along with rheumatism. There is marked stiffness in the muscles of the back and neck. There are shooting pains which shift from one part of the back to the other. There may also be shooting pain in the head.
Sticta Pul: This remedy is used when there is a general feeling of dullness and lethargy, as when a cold is coming on, with dull, heavy pressure in the head and severe stiffness in the neck. There is also pain in the right shoulder joint. The pains are worse when there are sudden changes of temperature.
The above medicines may be taken in 30th potency 3 times a day only if the symptoms correspond with the symptoms that the remedy is expected to cure. However, if there is no relief, consult a qualified homeopathic doctor.
