Enlarged heart of pet
Hi,My pet (young beagle 6 yrs) was diagnosed with an enlarged heart last year.
He has been on Enalapril Maleate 2.5 mg to manage his blood pressure and Digoxin 0.25 mg for his heart.
With the medication there has been a mild improvement and his condition has stopped getting worse, but he is not getting better either.
The mildest of exertion causes terrible breathlessness and extreme panting, so he is unable to play or go for the long walks that he used to enjoy.
Heat aggravates his condition horribly, he needs to be in an air-conditioned environment as much as possible.
He is also prone to yeast infection in the ears.
Could you suggest a medication that could help him get better and more active?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Give him three doses of CRATAEGUS OXY 6C in a day for 10 days without any interruption & report back the improvement. Let other medicines going on be continued but with a gap of at least one hour between allopathy & homoeopathy.
Never abruptly stop allopathic medicines as it will have a rebound reaction which is very dangerous.
Please report after 10-12 days.

Thank you so much for the quick response. I have a few questions....
1. How many pellets in a single dose?
2. How much gap between the recommended three doses?
3. Any dietary restrictions to be followed?
4. Any medication for repeated ear infection?
It would be great if you could update me on this. Thanks.

three pills in each dose.
gap of about 5-6 hours.
no dietary restrictions except nothing to eat or drink 15 minutes before & after the medicine.
there are no specifics disease wise in homoeopathy you must explain the full case in a separate thread so that someone can help.

Sorry, I need a bit more guidance, here the medication is available only as a Liquid Dilution (Dr.Reckeweg 20ml bottle). So will the dosage now be 3 drops or would it be different?
Also, thank you for you patience and kindness Daktersaab.
