red swellings on fingers

Hello everyone , I've just joined and wonder if anyone might be able to help me. I was reading about Maryo's finger problem in May - was that ever resolved?

April/May - I caught my index finger on my sewing machine needle.
1 week later this finger, the next one and the thumb were red, swollen and felt 'tight' – cellulitis.
Against my better judgement I was 'scared' into taking antibiotics, which eventually cleared the problem.

I now have some recurrence, nowhere near as bad:
1st finger - swollen, red lump between the nail and first joint.
2nd finger – lump on first joint (last week, before problem flared up-doc said this was synovial cyst).
Swelling/tenderness seemed to come on overnight .
Doesn’t seem affected by anything in particular, although it’s probably more painful in cold.
I’m generally sensitive to criticism, quite optimistic but with a few anxieties.
Food desires – seem to alternate from sweet-savoury-sweet etc.
No major diseases, but had an ‘intensive hysterectomy’ in 2001.
No known reactions to any homeopathic – possibly to penicillin many years ago.
No prescribed homeopathic remedies for 12 months, due to relocation of homeopath.
I have very dry eyes and know that I have a dental abscess (no pain -tooth may actually be 'dead') so wonder if this may be the 'root' (no pun intended) of the problem, because I sometimes get a little blood/pus coming out of my gum.

The doc prescribed diclofenac sodium enteric coated 50mg x 3 daily. I haven't taken any - instead I have been having hepar sulph for just over 1 day. The redness may have lessened slightly, but still v tender. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sajjad,
Many thanks for your reply - it's very much appreciated. Would Ledum 30 tablets also be alright?
