Deafness due to ear blockage
A week or so ago I found that my hearing had diminished. As I am already hearing impaired it was a big problem. still is.My doctor advised Thuja 30 twice daily. I have taken the medicine for 3-4 days and my blockage has lessened, but not gone fully. I still am unable to hear properly on Phone and my Hearing aid volume is now set to 3 instead of 2.
I am fully deaf in my right ear since around 28 yrs, So this problem in my left is really causing distress to all around especially as I cannot lipread. I was not born deaf, but lost my hearing due to mycin group of drugs in 1978.

Immediately contact ear,nose and throat specialist for complete investigation to find out the cause of your deafness then only my colleagues will be able to help you in the proper manner.

Dear Doctor,
I didnt like to go to an ENT for this problem.. had it before but they could not help me in this regard.
Anyway the Thuja helped in my hearing though with my aids off I could not hear anything.. took it twice for 3 days only..but now the blockage has cleared by itself.

You don't mention what side of the ear drum the problem is coming from, though I am assuming inside the ear drum. Fluid build up?
First off, I would suggest making sure any wax is cleaned out of both ears-just for starters. Wax build up can really be a problem. some warm olive oil can be helpful with this. My homeopath is really against candling-dont do it., Use water flushes instead.
Second, have you ever looked into WHY there is a fluid build up? We are dealing with "glue ear" with my son at present-so this is a daily situation in our family. We found out he was allergic to most of the foods we were feeding him, and his body was essentially trying to rid the toxins by forming mucous-or as a result it was forming mucous that then filled his eustacian tubes. Being unaware of this, and that he was having ear troubles at all-we were exacerbating the situation. Now that we have had him tested, and are on an elimination diet, he has been pain free for weeks, and his hearing has improved.
In addition to the diet changes, we also have had, and will have another, cranial adjustment. THis can be helpful if there is any structural reason for the eustacian tubes to not be freely letting the fluid come out.
It is true that the built up fluid becomes gelled, and is harder to move out-so we are also using herbs, i.e. chinese herbs: bi yan pian, and then bromelien away from food in addition to some others my naturopath/homeopath has perscribed.
It is our goal to not put in tubes, but to prevent the fluid build up, clear out the Eustacian tubes, and bring back full hearing ability. We have noticed so much improvement just by taking the :bad" foods out of the diet.

I have no fluid build up nor is there any wax build up. My blockage was similar to the one we get in an aircraft and being deaf it really stopped my hearing. This is the first time it happened and stayed for so long otherwise a simple blowing would clear it. For all these problems I would have visited an ENT only and would be ok. Thuja had helped my hearing come back but the blockage still persisted for much longer though even that seems to have cleared. My diet has been same for the last 25 years and no changes have been made. We are pure veg and dont go for any of the meats which could have been contaminated. It is also very rare for me to eat out.
I would just like a solution which will help me if this happens again in future.
