14 month old with difficulty swallowing and constipation
hi my daughter is 14 month old..right from when she was 2/3 months old she had almost no appetite.i had to and still have to feed her milk in her sleep.she was diagnosed with silent reflux and was given prevacid which i gave for few months without much difference in eating.after she started solids she still had very low appetite ,she wud go 16/17 hrs without milk or food,then her doc gave her appetite stimulant periactin which improved her milk intake and solid intake,not a lot but still much better.now i have stopped her peraictic as it wasn`t making much difference recently and also am noticing she opens her mouth to eat but is unable to or doesnt want to swallow the food..keeps in her cheecks and then either gags and take it out or just takes it out.Also she had constipation issues from the beginning.she is on formula from 7th month onwards.Also she has no teeths yet..the below gums are pretty swollen right now.she just started walking.[message edited by caltest07 on Fri, 30 Oct 2015 18:15:38 UTC]

Also the alumina strength I got here is 30c.how much should I give her.

the shipping of alumina has delayed,it will reach me now on around 9th nov.I have Silica 30c at home,would that work?

Silicea is not a good choice. Pls dont self medicate

ok.thanks.undertand that.since my baby was suffering a lot last few days and the medicine has not yet arrived so was asking.based on a blog which said :

Also if you notice that the stool does actually recede after baby has tried to go (if you catch baby poohing!) . Use if the constipation starts up coinciding with difficult and slow teething. And particularly if your baby's appetite is poor and they are not gaining weight satisfactorily.
