should my son stop Belladonna?
Hi, My 6 y/o son went to see his homeopath for chronic catarrah (all year round and chesty colds in winter months) and also has permanantly swollen glands. Homeopath prescribed Kali Bich 30, Sulpher 200 (constitutional) and Belladonna 30 for swollen glands. 2 days later son starts with very bad sore throat, is sick and right gland in neck swells up much more. He develops Slapped cheek disease, then develops Impetigo (for which homeopath prescribed Bellis perennis 30). 2.5 weeks later and right gland still v. swollen and also gland under jawbone on the right also swollen and sore. I've asked the homeopath if he could be proving the belladonna remedy, but told no, and to keep on taking it. What do any of you think? And what is the dose schedule of belladonna?
Is this a naturopath with real homeopathic certification? Or what is the dr title?

The homeopath is D.HoM and MRH (he's a herbalist too).
The Kali bich and belladonna were taken 2 times per day, and the sulphur once a day - all for 2 weeks. Now my son is on the belladonna twice a day and the bellis twice a day. This is going to be for 2 weeks also, then he will be seen again to see how he's getting on. What do you think?

And homeopath and teacher and Chinese med dr too.
He has a list on his site of a lot of basic homeopathy info- one article is what to look for in a homeopath.
I think you need to switch drs.
If you need some names let me know your area.

Thanks Simone. Tbh I've been having doubts about this homeopath too. He hardly asks any questions - even at the initial appt and seems to prescribe purely on physical symptoms. I'm in Sheffield, England if you know of anyone. Should I just stop what my son's on until I find another homeopath? Oh my goodness, I'm really worried now that I've done him harm :-(

Hi,
I suggest mikeandrews homeopathy.
He has a London clinic plus a couple others. He is a supervisor for new homeopaths and is very involved with British homeopathy regulation.
He has a special focus on allergies etc. he only sees kids in person but will do a free 15 minute Skype with anyone to see if it would be a good match.
This is a very good homeopath..nothing like your old one.

Thank you simone717 for your advice. I will look up mike andrews, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to travel to London for appts as it is too far. I've stopped son's remedies for now.

Look up his other locations and let me know if they would work.
If not, call him and get a suggestion of homeopaths near you, as he is
