The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Hi everyone! New to this forum but

not to homeopathy! My family and I have been using homeopathy, with great success, for nearly eight years. We treat our animals ~ with moderate success ~ as well.

My first question to all the members, is concerning one of our dogs. She has horrible breath! She is older (13), gets regular dental cleanings from the vet and her teeth/gums are all healthy. I know that bad breath can be a result of stomach acids as well. Any recommendations for me (or should I say her!)? Thanks in advance ~ and I look forward to being an active member!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
first place start is be sure -she(dog) has proper enzymed food--and no soy products...enzymes get from buried bones -grasses and such--this depend if free roam dog or total house dog....raw meat also needed but most get calcium from berakdown of buried bones...if on soy diet long --then stop--will need start usage vit D and a ---pure cod liver oil--

if chronic disease --and breath indictive characteristic symptom then --will need change diet and more info will be needed to ascertain ..state of health...so as to suggest remedy and further supplementation/dietary changes

Hi and thanks for the response. Molly (as well as our other two dogs) have been fed a wholistic dog food ~ Wysong Synorgon (dry) since day one. I don't know if you are familiar with that dog food? There is no soy in it..due to the fact that quite a few dogs have allergies to soy. We occasionally feed raw meat; but mainly cook it up slightly, adding fresh garlic and parsley. She does not roam freely (we have a fenced in yard and they are not given any type of (real) bones to chew on.

Thank you!
