The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Could someone very experienced take my case please?

Hi,
I have a condition that has been going on for over a year now that I have not been able to get help for. I don’t have a clear diagnosis, but I am pretty good at explaining the symptoms. Was wondering if I could be assigned to someone who would take my case?

It’s mostly headache and hormone related, possibly TMJ, sinus and throat issues, but I’ve had pain in my head and nose area now for over a year to varying degrees (all scans and tests come out normal), panic and anxiety, and all of it seems heightened around my period.

If someone could please send me a questionnaire, I could fill it out with all the details.

Thank you in advance!

Hello. Thank you for taking my case.

AGE: 42
CONDITION STARTED: 15 months ago
CHIEF COMPLAINT:

For the past year, I have been experiencing these strange unexplainable pains and pulling sensations (like muscular tightening) in my scalp, sinuses, nose, cheeks, and forehead. When the ordeal first started, (woke up one morning and felt a pulling sensation at the back of my head) it also came with numbness and tinging in my hands and feet, (namely my right hand), chronic nausea for months, and these strange skin sensations I can only describe as cold splashes all over my body. At times it felt like it was raining on me. I also experienced very hard and fast heart beat upon waking. Also, my ears would feel like they were going to burst with pressure. All of these symptoms brought on full blown panic attacks and constant anxiety.

After numerous doctors, scans and tests, I was left with the following conventional medical diagnosises: retractable migraine, allerghic rhinitis, panic disorder, cervogenic (neck) headache, anxiety,

CT of sinuses shows bilateral concha bullosa, which they said couldn’t possibly be contributing to any of my problems

Chiropractic diagnosed me with TMJ and hormonal disorderly, because all these symptoms heightened around my period. He said my hormones were causing TMJ spasms.

Anyway, fast forward to the present, I no longer suffer from the nausea and skin sensations (cold, rain, etc), but I do still experience the pain and tightening around my forehead, nose (bridge of nose...lots of pressure), and behind my nose (the part where your nose and throat join...I believe it’s called the pharynx). It literally feels like something is squeezing my sinuses in my forehead and nose. And I still experience pressure in my ears. The pressure in my ears gets worse when driving up and down hills in the car.

I also have a new symptom, for about 3 months now, I have what looks like ulcers or blisters in the back of my throat. They are painful. I saw 2 doctors for them who say they are “cobblestoning”, which is irritation from post nasal drip.

When my period comes, everything gets ten times worse, and I can actually feel my jaw area tightening up and pushing my who face upward.

It happens within about a minute of waking up in the morning, My face and head is completely relaxed when I wake, but within a minute, I can actually feel the (what I am assuming are muscles) around my nose and forehead tightening up. And they stay that way all day causing pain in my forehead, like something is pressing and squeezing my forehead, and my nose and behind my nose gets so tight,

My pain is burning, pulling, pressing, pressure, and even the skin on the bridge of my nose stings at times, right under my right eye. I have popping and crackling sounds coming from my sinus area and jaw area all the time.

I also get EXTREME hot flashes upon waking. Within a minute of waking, my body feels like a fiery furnace. It last a few minutes, then I have to pull the covers back up because I am then chilled and wet.

Other things that are not my chief complaints:

Extreme sensitivity to noise (I literally have to put ear plugs in during the mornings)
Mornings are worse for everything
Everything feels better when I take a hot bath
I desire to be alone
Outside stimuli bothers me, feels like I can’t think straight if things are going on around me
I am easily overwhelmed by everything
I have an EXTREME fear of doctors
I always feel as if something bad is about to happen
This condition I have makes me feel anger and fear and I have no patience
I also have Tourette’s syndrome since age 12
I am a skin picker, have been for years, I have picked my thumb nails completely off at times due to anxiety
I feel like life has defeated me
Prone to constipation
I get chronic cold sore outbreaks (bad ones)
I get long dark hairs that grow on my chin and breast area sometimes
Very low libido

I saw a classical homeopath last year and she prescribed lots of remedies, but none helped. I do remember there were 2 that brought an element of relief briefly, and they were Stramonium and Anacardium Occidentale. I gave up after awhile though.

This past month I was taking Sepia and Ignatia and they seemed to be helping a bit with the mentals, but then my period came and it stopped working, and I was back at square one.

Thank you for taking my case, let me know what you think.

Please let me know

Hi,
Thank you for your recommendations. A few questions:

1) can I take globules (I don’t have liquid
2) it seems the Ignatia and Sepia helps a bit, can I continue with them as needed along with the remedies you suggest

3) I drink a cup of coffee once a day, may I continue with that?
4) I have Nat Mur 6x in a cell salt kit, is this the same?

Thank you

Hi there,
2 more questions before I order my remedies:

1) if I’m using the globules, do you still want me to dissolve the nux vomica in water and take as you suggested three times before dinner? And is this how you want me to take it each of the three nights?

2) do you want me to take the Sulphur exactly like the nux, (dissolving in water taking 3 sips each night) or do you just want me to take one dose for three days?

3) I can get 200ck of each of these medicines, will this do, or should I be getting c?

Thanks

HAVE PILLS WITHOUT DISSOLVING,THREE TIMES FIVE PILLS FOR NUX.

FIVE PILLS SULPHUR.

CK IS OK.

anuj srivastava 5 years ago
Hi Anuj,

I finished up the nux 200 and the sulphur 200 and am still taking the Nat Mur 6x three times a day.

Still have headache and tightness, not as extreme. It’s definitely a bit less. I do feel a little progress has been made. I have been very tired and a bit more melancholy than usual, but I am also desperately missing my coffee!

Still feels as if there is something constricting or swelling behind my nose and into my throat. It comes and goes in like spasms. When I bend over I can hear crackling in my sinus behind my nose.

When the throat and pharynx spasm, I get pains and pressure on the bridge of my nose and forehead right between the eyes. Almost like someone has taken their finger and pushed in on that spot.

Mornings are still the worst.

One new symptom that has come on is aching in my hips and legs. It’s very similar to aching I had in my hips after I had my second child. Kind of like a Charlie horse feeling.

No change in the appearance of the cobblestone irritation in my throat.

Still have lots of throat clearing and thick white muscles dripping down my throat.

What would you advise?

Also I forgot to mention, my Tourette’s symptoms seem to be worse since taking the remedies, and I have also been experiencing a cold left arm (something that I forgot to mention in my initial message) this is a symptom that has come and gone the past few years. When I lie down on my back, my left arm around the elbow area will get very cold. I have to cover it to warm it back up. My right hand also experiences some subtle cold sensations and a bit of numbness every once in awhile. Especially when I get overly anxious.

Ugh, sorry I keep forgetting things. This is a symptom I also forgot to tell you about in the initial post. I have tinnitus in my ears also. A hissing noise. It happens mostly in the mornings or after I’ve heard something loud. When the tightening and pain happens, the hissing also starts. And the tightening and pain happens worse when I’m on my period. day 4 through 15 are the worst of my cycle.

KINDLY DEFINE YOUR SYMPTOMS WRT TIC DISORDER.

– repeating words or phrases just spoken by someone else.
– repeating one’s own spoken words.
– repeating words or phrases after reading them.
– spontaneous utterance of socially unacceptable or offensive words or phrases.

OTHER SYMPTOMS IF ANY BE ELABORATED.

anuj srivastava 5 years ago
Hi Anuj,

That’s such a hard question, some of these things are so engrained in me, they are like second nature.

Well, the worst tic is probably blowing out through my nose. Instead of sniffing in, I have to blow out. That pressure of the air going out is what feels satisfying. And I have to sniff out as I am kind of digging my right heel into the ground. That feeling of pressure on the heel of my right foot foot is satisfying.

I have to do these two things together simultaneously just the right number of times, until it feels like everything is “even” if that makes any kind of sense.

I also have a tic where I have to flex my nostrils until it feels just right. And flex my eyebrow muscles until it feels just right.

Sometimes I suck in my stomach repeatedly until it feels just right.

I also pick at my thumb nails and the skin around my thumb nails because I can’t stand when the nails or skin is “uneven”

I also have to tap things 5 times.

This is the majority of what I deal with. Hope that helps.

After I wrote the update yesterday, I got a major headache all over the right side of my nose and face, and then it radiated into the back of my head before letting up. I just woke up this morning and I have the same nose and forehead pain as usual along with the tightening and pushing up of the throat feeling.

AGARICUS 30, THREE TIMES A DAY.NAT MUR TO CONTINUE.FEEDBACK EVERY 4 DAYS.

anuj srivastava 5 years ago
I have Agaricus 200 here. I’d have to order the 30. Can I take the 200?

aprilm 5 years ago
HAVE YOU TAKEN IT BEFORE?AND IF SO HOW WAS THE RESPONSE?

anuj srivastava 5 years ago
No I have never taken it before. Someone on this forum suggested it for my son a few years ago because he has tics also. It didn’t seem to help him at all.

HAVE IT ONES DAILY ,NAT MUR TO CONTINUE.FEEDBACK EVERY 4 DAYS.

anuj srivastava 5 years ago
Just to be clear, are you saying to take the Agaricus 200 once daily? For how many days?

aprilm 5 years ago
WHEN I TOLD YOU TO GIVE A FEEDBACK AFTER 4 DAYS MEANS AT LEAST FOUR DAYS.

anuj srivastava 5 years ago
Got it. So the 200 is ok to take since I don’t have the 30?

aprilm 5 years ago
Hi Anuj,

I have finished 4 doses of the Agaricus 200, still taking the Nat Mur 6x three times a day.

I don’t really have any relief of the main symptoms, although my hips aren’t hurting any longer. I would say I have a worsening of the tightening in my throat and lower jaw. Today I had one of the tightest throat spams I’ve ever had.

Also I have been sweating perfusely since taking the Agaricus. Sporadic periods of sweating.

My mood is irritable. And I’m pretty exhausted. All other symptoms are still the same.

What do you think?

GIVE ANOTHER FEEDBACK AFTER TWO DAYS.CONTINUE NAT MUR AS OF NOW.

anuj srivastava 5 years ago
Hi Anuj,

It's been 2 days. I stopped the Agaricus 2 days ago, and have still continued the Nat Mur 6x 3 times a day.

The sweating has calmed down a bit and I haven't had any really bad throat spasms like I did the last time I reported. (still have the spasming, just not as bad) My tics aren't as bad, but all other symptoms (my chief complaints) are the same.

I still have the painful irritation (what the doctors refer to as cobblestoning) in my throat and my nose and forehead still hurt just the same. It constantly feels like I am trying to swallow something down, like something is stuck in my throat.

Mornings are still riddled with anxiety and worsening of all symptoms.
Applying pressure to the painful parts helps.
Still lots of crackling in sinus behind nose, especially when I put my head down.
Heat helps.
Weirdly, putting my head upside down takes the pressure off my throat and back of nose and relieves for a bit, but usually my nose hurts when I stand back up.
Ears still feel clogged
Still have the thick white mucous dripping down the back of my throat. (lots of throat clearing)
Still get panicky feelings when thinking about all my symptoms

I wonder if what is going on in my throat is happening in my sinuses as well. I don't know, but it seems whatever this irritation in my throat is, is causing some of the other pains. Whenever the throat spasms and tightens, the cobblestoning starts stinging, and my nose and forehead begin to hurt.

So, that is where I am as of now.

hi,

Have your drs mentioned anything about enlarged tissue around your
Tonsils and adenoids? This can cause extra mucous, the extra mucous
Causes cobblestoning. I ask because Anuj can prescribe different remedies to help your tonsils and adenoids if this is the case.
