Pinched nerve with numbness and pain in right arm and hand

I have an issue that has bothered off and on for several years.

It starts in my upper back between my shoulder blades with the worst pain towards the right side. There is also a lot of pain in the back of my neck about at shoulder level. From there the pain and numbness affect my arm and hand. Most days there is pain in the shoulder joint and a burning/tingling sensation that goes from the armpit to the elbow down the back of my arm. The pain in my elbow varies and the burning/tingling pain travels down the top of my forearm. Then there is a constant tinging/numbness in my thumb and first two fingers. The fingers are slightly swollen and are extremely sensitive to cold. I work outside frequently and it is winter so within a short period of time the numb/tingling feeling turns into a deep throbbing ache and the three affected fingers start tuning blue. When the pain gets unbearable I take a brake and warm them slowly starting with cold tap water gradually increasing the temperature of the water.

Turning my head either to the left or right causes sharp pain in the shoulder blade area. Turning to the right also causes pain in the front of my shoulder just above my armpit.

My doctor prescribed 800MG Ibuprofen twice per day and Flexerall 3 times. Options are limited due cheap and useless insurance.

Physical therapy has helped in the past and had it under control for over a year but the latest flare up is proving difficult to manage.

Another issue I believe may be making things worse is stress. When the pain and numbness prevent me from getting things done I get stressed. When I get stressed I tend to shallow breath and clinch my jaw. Everything seems to be keeping the first rib on the right elevated and making things worse.

Can someone recommend me any homeopathic remedies that will help reduce the inflammation, pain and circulation?

Let me know if there is any further information you need.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give.

1. The problem first started about 5 years ago. At the time I was working long hours operating heavy equipment. Poor posture and repetitive motions for long hours caused the initial problem. The latest flare up happened about 3 months ago while digging a well.

2. The things that make it worse is simply using my arms. Right now, typing on the keyboard causes the symptoms in my hand and shoulder to get worse. Basically anything other than just letting my arms hang down at my side makes the pain worse. Turning my head from side to side makes that shoulder and back pain worse.
As for making the symptoms better, I haven't found much relief on my own. Some stretches seem to help one day then make them worse the next. The therapist that helped me a couple years ago had a few things that helped. She did some type of massage using knife like tools to run along the muscle fibers and break up the knots. She also used some type of laser and did some traction. Not sure the technique she used but she would manually release the tension that was causing the first rib to be stuck in the elevated position.

Position:
Sitting or standing with my arms down at my side is the only position that doesn't cause the pain to get worse. Nothing seems to provide relief.

Change of weather:
The only thing I've noticed from the cold weather is the three fingers on my right hand that are numb/tingling get very cold, stiff and discolored while working out in the cold.

Hot & Cold application:
No noticeable relief from hot or cold packs. I've also tried several pain relief ointments with no noticeable relief.

Time:
Right now there is no time that I am pain free. Sleep is not restful at all so I wake up exhausted and in pain.

Please take Chelidonium majus 30c, twice a day for 7 days and report back any changes.

1 dose is 2 pills.

Hello,
I have taken the Chelidonium majus 30c for 7 days.

I have not noticed any improvement yet. On day 2 I felt much worse. The pain in my shoulder blade area was almost unbearable most of the day. All the symptoms seemed to have increased.

On day 3 the pain and swelling were back to the previous level.

Should I continue to take the 2 doses of Chelidonium Majus 30c?

Continue with the remedy, but just 1 dose in every 3 days for a month and report back if any changes. Also, need to stop taking the remedy if any aggravation.
