Disturbed sleep

My daughter is 26 months old. For last 2 months she is on hunger strike. I thought she would start eating again by herself. But now things are getting worse. She has stated losing weight, very irritated, stubborn, tired with disturb sleep.
She has lost interest in food no matter for how many hours she is been without food. Through tantrums very frequently. Difficult to fall a sleep and once she has slept, she sits up every half hour, talk very loud in sleep and most of the the cry with some complain(complain of siblings, pain, want to play outside )
Her CBC is normal.

Need advice

Hi,

The above suggestion is extreme overdosing.
And especially for a 2 year old.

Have you seen her pediatrician about what is happening?

You say she cries at night about pain?

What kind of pain?

You say this began 2 months ago-
What was going on at that time?
Did she have a cold or flu or reaction to food
Or drink or some change or separation in the family?

Does she have regular bowel movements?

Hi
Nothing new happened 2 months back. All routine. She has started going to Day care 15 days before from now.otherthan that nothing.
Since she has stop eating, her bowl movements become little bit sluggish. Hard stool and less frequent stools. Before stool were normal and everyday. She has started picking her nose. She might have intestinal worms. I did the tape method to check but it was clear. We went to peadriation they did her test and all were ok. One doctor said she might have enlarged nasal polyps that leads to disturb sleep. But she she was very upset and doctor was unable to examine her nostrils.

Regarding pain, it is variety every time. But always in limbs. Specially on right side of limbs. Upper and lower both limbs. She want me to massage her when she cries in pain.

Hi,
Pain in her limbs is a out of the ordinary symptom.

Does massaging her help with the pain?
Does anything help with this - like heat or warm bath
Or cold applications?

Is this limb pain something that happens every day?

Have you talked to the dr about this?

simone717 4 years ago
Usually massage helps her fall a sleep easily. I don't know if her limbs really hurt or she say it just routinely. This thing happens every night before sleep n 2 to 3 times in-between night sleep. But in day time she never complained of limb pain. I talked to Dr but they couldn't find any thing wrong.

Please reply within a day to keep this
Thread current.

What is going on now?
Are you giving her any western meds or homeo meds now?
If so, what are they and what results?

You could consider giving her Nux vom 30c one pill or drop as a dose for four consecutive nights one hour before she goes to sleep. If you choose to give this medicine wait and observe changes for a week and report.

I gave her nux vomica as advised. But she is behaving same. We had a new addition in family a week ago and she is disturbed. She doesn't want to share her parents with new baby. And this reflects in her sleep behaviour as well. Her waking at night are more frequent. She talk so much in sleep. She cry frequently both in sleep as well as in awakening. We are trying to give her more attention than before. But it's not working.

Congrats for the new baby! I see other options as Ars. alb., Cina, Arg. Nit.(for failure to adapt to new change of baby sibling---absolutely based on mental symptom). Differentiating symptoms are not marked here giving a small problem.

Try Ars. alb first. If you are gonna try 200c, one dose per week, 30c means, gap between any two doses shall be three days.

Thank you...
I have arsenic alb. 30 c in oral drops...can you tell me exact dose?

navedsha 4 years ago
Two drops as a dose under the tongue. Between any two doses gap shall be three days. Meaning if the first dose was taken on Monday then the next dose will be due on friday and the third would be on next tuesday and so on.

maheeru 4 years ago
And total how many doses?

navedsha 4 years ago
Go upto 10 doses if the doses seem to show even a little positive change. If by 4th/5th dose, there is no change positively at all then you can stop further doses and report.
