Homeopathic Contraception

Hi,
My wife age 33 gave birth to a healthy baby boy March '05. After a week of the delivery she suffered seizures and a MRI scan revealed 5 clots in her brain (diagnosed as Cerebral Vein Thrombosis). She was put on blood thinners and anti-fit medicines and has, by the grace of god, almost recovered to normal.
The Dr. has advised her not to conceive in the near future as this can be dangerous for my wife and medicines can be harmful for the fetus. Due to blood clotting all hormonal contraceptives are dangerous. This leaves us with few alternatives and a constant fear of pregnancy.
Was wondering if Homeopathy might have some sort of alternative method of contraception.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hello Remedy Searcher

Your wife could benefit from homeopathy to help her with this very traumatic experience. Might want to consider posting for remedies to help your wife's health. Have you considered consulting with a homeopath in your area to help her?

Have you considered permanent sterilization?

If there is a remedy that works as a birthcontrol, hope someone brings that to your attention.

After 5-7 days of mensuration,if Natrum Mur 200x,5 tablets are taken once every day for 3 days can help to avoid pregnancy. Also consult gynecologist, she will tell you about the safe days.

I would also recommend that the lady used Arnica 6c in the liquid dose twice daily as this will ensure that the blood is thinned down and the circulation is promoted.

The liquid dose is made by inserting 3 pellets of Arnica 6c into a 500ml bottle of spring water which is shaken hard to bubble up inside. A teaspoonful is a dose and this is taken twice daily.

ridiculous you lead to believe arnica or nat-m can be used as contraceptive without ill consequence--if not ill consequence then nothing---that is not homoeopathy --against what is natural---better to use condomn or learn other sexual techiques that are equally fufilling --if not wanting to procreate...

.dont be fooled arnica and nat-m wont give that guarenntee---just let someone tell you --and when PREGNANCY OCCURS--what would they say?--"sorry"--well that dont cut it!! does it??...best do as said---

anyway---will become deeper in touch by expanding sexual techniques..husband --get book "multi orgasmic man" by mantak chia...good book for information/practise consolidated in it...but need be serious --requires practise--cant say not a good thing to practise..

John,

I believe that you have jumped the gun again.

Nowhere in my post did I indicate that Arnica will act as a contraceptive.

Sajjad had recommended Nat Mur 200x as a contraceptive and I presume that he has had experience in doing so. However I do concur with you that the safest method is to use condoms.

I suggested the Arnica for keeping the blood thinned down which would improve the circulation. I have ample evidence that Arnica is excellent for this purpose as I have many patients including an ex World War II soldier 85 years old who suffered from Angina and were using the usual TNT tablets under the tongue, who have discarded these tablets in favour of Arnica 30 which they take in the liquid dose twice daily.

I recommended Natrum Mur 200x,to the best of my knowledge, some one may believe it or not. However, other precautionary measures are also helpful.

sajjad,

YOU MADE ME LAUGH!

You're so right.

Almost always when I have purchased stuff at the health food store in fancy boxes, they don't work. But I tried flaxseed soaked in water and it worked.

Surprises me anyone believes in homeopathy which is so inexpensive.

When I was growing up, I used to hear women using vinager to douch for birth control.

I'm just not sure what kind of sponges like the type used to wash vehicles just cut it to size?

Pat2006 last decade
If you do a search engine for birth control sponges, you can read about modern day expensive sponges. I'm aware of at least two, the Today sponge and Protecaid.

hi
The most effective safe birth controle with out medication is to ejaculate out side vagina. This has hundred percent results if the husband has no ejaculatery problem i;e premature ejaculation .
Thanks

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Certain things I have to say for the various replies

To Pat2006 : She is already seeing a homeopath for her condition and he has advised her to take Kali Phos 12x for her pre seizure like symptoms, which occur just before her periods every month.
Permanent sterilization is out of question due to serious religious beliefs. Also medically she can have children but not recommended for at least 5 years.

To Sajjadakram635 : Safe days are only safe if the menstrual cycle is 100% accurate. Even a slight deviation is risky.

To Joe De Livera : She is already on Warfarin, which is a blood thinner and has to have her PT & INR checked twice a week.

To John Stanton: Condom is being used currently but is not fulfilling thats the main reason for my query in the first place.
I have already bought a book similar to the one you mentioned but it needs a lot of devotion and practice.

To Walkin : Want the vinegar cause a yeast infection or something?

To Pat2006 : I am also taking grounded Flax seeds in water for cholesterol. What r using it for and for how long?

To drmohib : According to what I have read even pre ejaculatory fluids may contain Sperms.

One note : Allopathics are currently working on a male pill. Anything in homeopathy that might TEMPORIARLY decrease the sperm count?

I am so glad to hear that your wife is seeing a homeopath.

I did a little internet research on vinager and found a website where someone made a comment that vinager might kill some of the sperm, but not all of it. But maybe in a sponge it might work. You might go to the library also if you don't find anything on the internet. With all the modern conviniences and technology, it is so easy to forget what people in the past used for birthcontrol.

To my knowledge vinager does not cause a yeast infection, but probiotics are known to help with yeast infections.

Gene Destroyer who used to be the head of the company that makes the Protecaid sponges used to send me e-mail on a regular bases. And I remember reading in one e-mail about a natural supplement that they were doing research on to use for birthcontrol. I looked for that e-mail, but I could not find it.

You might want to look through the internet to see if you can find Gene's e-mail.

The flaxseed I have used in the past to help me digest PINTO beans. I have never had trouble digesting other beans but PINTOS were a challenge. Put two tablespoons of the whole flaxseed in enough water to cover them and let them soak over night. In the morning, eat them with a spoon. I have taken flaxseed in oil but I never felt any results from the oil.

I don't know what your serious religious beliefs are, but I have heard of people who have had their surgeries reversed. Might be worth you looking into that. There might be some new technology that makes this more possible than in the past.

As far as using Arnica for circulation, I hope that your wife gives that a try. I was having a lot of trouble with my circulation and after a dose of Arnica in water, I noticed a big improvement.

I hope you do some more research on natural birth control, which might only require that your wife learn the signs her body gives her when she is ovulating. It might not require that she have 100% accurate cycles. There are doctors who believe there is no such thing as 100% accurate cycle and yet people have been known to use natural birthcontrol successfully.

Natural birthconrol is not promoted because it is not good for business.

I had a conversation once with a woman who told me she had been using natural birthconrol for 20 years and that using birth control was like going to bed with armour.

Best wishes and hope your wife gets better soon.
