9 month old with mottled central incisors
Hello,My 9 month old daughter’s maxillary central incisors broke through about 6 or 7 weeks ago and are now about 3/4 of the way out. the bottom half of them look mottled white and the dentist said they have some enamel hypoplasia. I believe this is due to a sinus infection and antibiotics at the end of my pregnancy. I noticed that when the teeth are very wet with saliva or water or milk they look perfectly fine but as soon as they dry out a little you can see the white mottling which is worse on one of the teeth. The mandibular central incisors have started to break through also but the enamel looks ok- except that one of them is quite crooked. I started giving her high vitamin butter oil 1/2 a teaspoon a day one week ago. What would you recommend both for the enamel hypoplasia and the crooked tooth?

It has been 7 days. I can see some improvement in the tooth that is not affected as badly. There is no noticeable improvement on the other tooth. I also started wiping her mouth with homemade xylitol tooth wipes (xylitol dissolved in water) after eating in order to neutralize the oral acidity and promote an environment conducive to remineralization rather than decay. (I also, of course, brush her teeth twice a day with a tiny smear of non fluoride toothpaste). Should I continue with the calc fluor and calf phos at the same dose? I suspect that seeing significant improvement is going to take some time.

I can see improvement in both teeth now. The mottled area is receding down the tooth and the enamel is filling in in some spots. It is not a drastic improvement but it is noticeable. She has a runny nose now from a mild cold (just started daycare a few days ago and all the kids have runny noses). Should I continue with the same protocol?

I do not see any change in her teeth this past week. The Nat Mur helped a lot with the runny nose. (It was gone a few hours after the 2nd dose. I gave a third dose for good measure and then stopped). She has been a little constipated this past week- her stools are frequent (2-3 times a day) but are small and hard, and she strains and grunts during bowel movements. I have reduced her solid food intake to help with this.

Would it be possible for me to take the nux 30 instead of giving it to her directly? I assume it will pass through breastmilk and that is mostly what she is consuming right now.

OK. Thank you for explaining that. I will dissolve 1 pill in a half cup of water and give her 1 teaspoon 3 times a day (with a new batch each day- until the constipation resolves).

Actually- you said "pills"- not "pill"- so I think you mean to dissolve 3 pills into half a cup of water each day- right?

Anuj prescribed 2 pills. Everyone does it differently
From one pill to 5 pills. I don’t think it makes a difference
Unless , for some reason a pill did not get coated
With the remedy. Up to you to decide.

I don't think I can see any change in her teeth. I did stop all supplements and foods (including the cell salts) except breastmilk and vitamin d for 3 days due to the constipation. After the 5th dose of the nux vomica, she had a large soft bowel movement and has had normal daily bowel movements since then (5 days ago). But, she has woken up at night the past 2 nights with a dry cough. I gave her 1 dose of Stodal cough syrup each time and it calmed the cough right away and she went back to sleep. She has extremely mild congestion but no other symptoms. (I've been sick with a bad flu but she didn't seem to catch that, luckily). Should I continue with the cell salts?

CONTINUE WITH CELL SALTS.IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST A MONTH OR SO GIVING FEEDBACK AS ADVISED.
