Asthma, frequent conjunctivitis,
I live in India. My son now 7 yrs old has history of bronchitis and now asthma which has receded by now.He was on allopathy bronchodilators and preventive inhalors like seroflo and asthlin SOS for about a year now. I wanted to stop the inhalers but continued to give it during monssoon and winters now it is hot and I have stopped giving him inhalers.
He has also taken homeapathyic treatment for a long period from many doctors.
Now he takes Kalisulph as and when he catches cold and coughs, his attacks usually start in the evening and aggrevate at night during the day he is fine.
But Kalisulph is helping hime very well.
Now another problem has started he suffers from frequent conjunctivitis
His eyes look very tired and yellowish or pinkish I have shown it to th opthalmologist he says he ahas allrgic conjtivitis and has vit A deficiency please help.

if never had conjunctivitis before in life then WRONG freakin treatment--suppressive -in that case stop the kali sulph--and tell homoepath go to hell..

Can a homeopath help me for the condition of my boy. I have read and heard in case chronic diseases only homeopathy works provided the practitioner is knowledgeable.

I shall copy the standard instructions that I have given on this and other BB's to help cure Asthma:
" The remedy that I recommend you use is Nat Sulph 6c which must be used precisely in the manner indicated below:
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from your nearest supermarket.
Pour out 100ml
Drop in 3 pellets or 1 drop of liquid Nat Sulph 6c into the 400ml water
Cap the bottle tightly and succuss it 4-6 times by shaking the bottle in your hand to aerate the water.
Pour out 1 teaspoonful of the potentized remedy into half a cup of water from another bottle of the same water and stir it gently.
Sip 1 teaspoonful of the water from the cup just once daily.
You will have to stop all other medication if you wish to start on this therapy.
This remedy should be taken daily for some time in the future and you may like to know that I have many instances of adults who were chronic sufferers from Asthma for many years who do not use the remedy any more after about 4 months on this therapy. Others who were not so chronic react favourably in a few days and only use the remedy if and when necessary.
The remedy that I have used when the patient is having an acute attack and is straining for breath is Ars Alb 200c. This remedy is taken dry and just 4 globules will suffice for a dose which may only be taken just once daily when the patient is gasping for breath. This usually clears the lungs and opens up the airways in under 20 minutes.

Since when is he taking Kali Sulph? Dose? Potency? How many times a day?
If Kali sulph is helping only during the acute attack, then he needs to take a 'constitutional remedy'which would reduce the frequency and intensity of attacks, and will finally treat him of his chronic illnesses.

He is 7 yrs, tall, lanky, wheatish skin, black eyes, heart shaped face,
Goes thirsty often, drinks less amount of water in one gulp but does that 20- 25 times of the day. Sweats at the back,head, temples and back of ear. sweat without any odour.
Loves to eat sweet. Cannot eat anything spicy and with pepper. We avoid giving him icecreams, Chocolates, bournvita,sour things, bananas, cold dishes just out of refrigerators and many fruits like pineapple,grapes etc. As it is observed many time the attack had started after theirt intake. But when he is healthy and and if he takes little portion of the abovementioned things in the hot afternoon time many times he resists the attck. So we keep on experimenting. We had also stopped his milk as somebody had informed us.But now have started it back.
The attack usually starts with running nose in the morning turns into cough, dry cough by the evening and rattling dry cough at night. sleeping position makes it horrible. Sitting position helps him a lot. Feels relieved on drinking warm to hot water after every bout.
It is also observed that he often does not pass his bowels regularly and during the time of attack i ve observed that he faces constipation. And as the attack clears his bowels also clear.
Has got mouth odour, gums are always red and bleeds on brushing.Tongue looks whitish in colour.

1. How much covering does he need? Does he like fan? Does he feel more/less chilly as compared to others?
2. How is his skin? Any eruptions? Do his wounds heal rapidly? Tendency to pus formation? White spots on nails? How are his eye lashes? (long/short...)
3. Any dreams/night terrors?
4. Were his milestones on time? (teething, walking...)
5. Since when is he suffering from asthma?
6. How is he doing academically? What are his hobbies?
7. How is his appetite?

- initially when he sleeps he covers his entire body. But in sleep his covers are removed completely.
We do not make him sleep underneath fan, now, as it is observed that immediately he gets blocked nose or a running nose. But he likes the fan. Morning and evening times he feels chilly and prefers woollens. When he sleeps with his night cap though he sweats he sleeps well.
I remember till he was 2.5 yrs old he used to sleep very late at night say 1.00 to 2.30 midnight and used to get up early at 5.30 in the morn. Later with homeo treatment he started sleeping better.
2. How is his skin? Any eruptions? Do his wounds heal rapidly? Tendency to pus formation? White spots on nails? How are his eye lashes? (long/short...)
His skin is very sensitive. If he falls or gets scratche a bump appears on it and vanishes on its own after sometime. He many times gets allergic eruption on skin after he comes back playing on the lawn.
His eyelashes are very long and turned upwards at the corner. No he does not have white spots on the nails.

Yes he dreams often of robbery, shooting, running away form something,chasing, many time cartoons.
4. Were his milestones on time? (teething, walking...)
I think they were bit early. Teething in fifth month walking at 12 months. Now he is 6.7 his milk teeth almost all have fallen.
5. Since when is he suffering from asthma?
when he was 2.5yrs. Started with a severe pneumonia later faced frequent attacks in every week. Now it has reduced to 2 months and also the severity is not that harsh. It usually lasts for 3 nights nad goes with medications both homeo and allopathy. Feels better on nebulisation of Salbutamol
6. How is he doing academically? What are his hobbies?
He is excellent in grasping. Can repaeat entire story with same words and expressions as you tell him. He does not have any particular hobby, except for watching tV and listening to stories. Likes colouring sometinmes, Plays on computer.( needs company)
7. How is his appetite?
Always not hungry. But you offer him anything sweet and he will eat it i mmediately. Eats well when you insist. Likes potatoes.

Give your son a SINGLE DOSE of Tuberculinum Bovinum 1M, 4-5 pills at bedtime.
From the next day, give him Silica 200, 4-5 pills every night, FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS ONLY. At bedtime.
Dont give him anything to at/drink atleast for half an hour before and after taking the medicine. The medicine should be taken on clean tongue.
During an acute attack, you can still give him Kali sulph.
