The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Survey for university project

Hi all,

I've been asked to post this by a research student at Eindhoven university:

Dear users of the Homeopathy and health forum,

I would like to ask for your participation in a research project of the
Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands). This project
analyzes
the exchange of support and the development of trust in communities on
the internet.

You can be assured of complete confidentiality of your answers, which
will be used for this research project only. Completion will take
anywhere between 10-20 minutes. This time is not lost.
The results of this project will be of use to every community member
interested in enhancing the development of trust between members. If
you would
like to receive a short report of the results, please indicate this
during
the filling out of the questions.

You can find the questionnaire at the following web site:
http://www.stkw.nl/communities/index.php?comm=63

When you enter the site, please copy and paste the following code:

am ready to reply and answer them. If you want to have background
information about the project, please have a look at

http://www.tue-tm.org/soc/matzat/teach/mgo3/communities.htm ...

Once again I would like to draw your attention to this research project.
It would help me very much if you would fill in the questionnaire.
The results can be used to improve online communities.

Now I visited the webpage again, I couldn't figure out what exactly you want. Do you want people to answer you the following questions and email it to you?

Question are:
what strengths does a community have from the point of view of the members?

what practices and 'community policies' would the members dislike and what do they like?

under what conditions do members experience more comfort in talking with each other and when, if at all, do they develop friendships?

how are opinions on a certain topic in the commmunity formed?

does trust emerge, if yes then how?

And email address:
u.matzat at tm.tue.nl

If this is correct?

In this case put a clear post here and pring correct email address in your profile. I will be the first to help you.

You probably used the wrong URL. Because in the message there are two, one with the questionnaire and one with information about the project. Just use the first URL in the message above. I would be very gratefull if you'd try it again!

I visited at:
http://www.stkw.nl/communities/index.php?comm=63

They want a loging code.

Then again I visited at:
http://www.tue-tm.org/soc/matzat/teach/mgo3/communities.htm

There is no instruction to get the login code. There is an email address but it is mentioned anywhere that I am suppost to ask for the code at email.

I emailed you at u.matzat -at- tm.tue.nl and asked for the code.

As a login code you can use 63000, as was mentioned in the first post. I hope, after all the effort you've done, you are willing to try again.

Thanks in advance!
