Acne

Can anybody tell me more about Causticum. This website says Causticum best matches my symptoms. I have acne for about 5 years now. Sometimes it is mild and sometimes moderate. I have papules,pustules and few nodular ones mostly on my right cheek. Everything i tried (natures cure, Arnica wet dose, Shaclear, neutrogena acne wash) helps for few days and then stops working. Please suggest what to do.

Arnica 30c in your remedy in the wet dose and you are advised to use it twice daily for as long as it helps you.

Thanks Joe for responding. I already tried Arnica 30c wet dose. My acne was better for few days but after sometime it came back because of my mistake of eating chocolates. Then on your advise I tried Arnica 6c for few days but my acne was not getting better. Then I again tried 30c on your advise but it wasn't getting me anywhere. My acne got worst for some reason. I am not trying to say that Arnica made it worst because it helped me for sometime but it wasn't working after sometime for some reason so I stopped taking Arnica wet dose. Currently I am not taking any medication and struggling with the breakouts. I never had serious acne, not more than 5-6 pimples per month but currently I am having 8-10 active pimples on my right cheek. I am really desperate. Please help me.

I have used Hepar Sulph 200c in the wet dose once daily for just 4 days to help a case similar to yours.

You can use this remedy and report response.

My distant relative who lives in India is a homeopath and I remember that he used to prescribe Silecea followed by Hepar sulph for acne.Thanks for the suggestion.
I live in Michigan so I'll have to check for the remedy you prescribed in the pharmacy or I'll have to order online.

If you have oily face, first use Thuja-30 for two weeks first. Then use Silicea 3x.

There are two types of Hepar Sulphuris (Calcareum and kalinum). Which one do I have to look for. Thanks and Regards

I would like to know more about Hepar Sulph like how it works on acne? Is it going to aggravate my acne first? etc

Hepar Sulph will not usually aggravate any ailment like acne and your case seems to be rather difficult to cure. Be patient and keep taking the remedies espcially the Arnica as this is your salvation.

If there is no positive response in a week I shall indicate another remedy to help with your acne.
