Cold Sore/Fever Blister Breakouts

Hi all...

I'm 23 and quite new to the whole homeopathic concept and looking forward to getting more involved with it. My coworker got me interested a couple weeks ago.

Anyway, lately I've been having a sever breakout of cold sores/fever blisters around my chin and (sometimes) to the sides of my nose (higher on the face). I imagine it is because of some of the stressful situations I've been dealing with lately. Losing my job, relocating, starting a new job with higher demands, etc.

The odd thing is I haven't had ANY on my lips at all. This has been going on for about 4 or 5 months now and I'm absolutly fed up with it. They are unsightly more than painful and I'd really just like to not worry about them anymore. They only appear on my face and some are tiny, some never even really form a 'head,' some go away after just a day or two, others stick around for the normal length of time.

Can anyone lend me some suggestions on what to take/where to start in supressing these outbreaks? I'd appreciate any input!

Thanks again!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Natrum Mur stands at the head of a list of remedies.

try one dose of Nat Mur 30c a day for three days -- at 24 hr intervals , just before going to bed.

Nat mur works best if you dislike sympathy
