post cataract surgery pain

I have been operated in left eye for cataract on 25th September 2006. I am feeling pain in my eye ball and I have the feeling in the eye as if I am wearing contact lens all the time. It is feeling of foreign substance in the eye. Though I am using eye drops I would want to know any homeopathic remedy I can use so that it heals faster.Thanks.

You are advised to contact your eye surgeon immediately as he may be able to identify the reason for post surgical pain 4 days after surgery which is most unusual.

It is possible that the reason may be due to some infection and your surgeon will be able to guide you.

In your own interest you must consult him immediately.

Kuldeep has mentioned any potency of Colocynthis will do? so try to buy 30c of this one. If you have staphysagria 6c or 30 potency take one dose immediately. After seeing the response you can decide to contact ur surgeon immediately.

Dear Reiki, I would also recommend contacting your eye surgeon to rule out the possibility of infection etc.

If everyrhing is seen to be okay, then you could try Calendula 6x, 3 times a day for one day, which is an excellent remedy for bad effects from inciscions (Staphisagria is also, but this is a much deeper acting remedy, and you would do well to start superficially).

I hope this helps.

I have taken colocythis 6 as suggested for pain after surgery. I have taken 3 to 4 doses in all at different times when I had pain. I had visited eye specialist and he said there is no infection and every thing is fine. But I still sometimes feel itching and pain specially on the corner of my eye.
As suggested here, yesterday I have taken staphysagria 30 as I was feeling same itching, some pricking on the corner of the eye. I have taken it as wet dose. I put 2 drops in a glass of water and then I just took 1 teaspoon from this once only. Though I feel better in eye, I still have very mild pain. I now have sore throat since yesterday afternoon. My throat feels very dry.I do not know if the medicine has caused proving. I would appreciate if somebody could suggest Whether I should just leave and it will heal on its own or take some remedy for this. Please advice. Thanks.

It is not a proving. Don't worry about it.

If your sorethroat doesn't resolve on its own, even after 24 hours take a dose of belladona 30c, and repeat it if necessary after 4 hours. Stop after taking three doses.

Bell will take care of your eye problem too.

Report progress.
