perforated ear drum

Hi, I am in water polo and got elbowed to my right ear during practice. I heard a loud ringing noise and it hurt. i thought i just had swimmer's ear, so I put the swimmer's ear drops after practice. i put it in everyday after practice. After I put the drops in, I felt pain on the inside of my ear. I found out I have a perforated ear drum.

How long does it take to repair itself?

What will happen if water gets inside?

I feel a drips coming down my ear and I don't know what it is. Could it be pus?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The chances of a perforated ear drum healing itself is very remote and the sooner you seek surgical assistance the better for you.

If as you state you notice a discharge, this can only indicate an infection and
I hope that you consult an ENT surgeon immediately.

Yes the drip can be pus.

Homeopathic Mullen Oil ...two drops in the ear morning and evening...will save you from the infection getting worse.

First see an ENT specialsit ...to know the exact extent of the damage.

Maybe, then there is a possibility of dealing with it.

whats the worst thing that can happen to my ears if i dont see a doctor?

You may run the risk of losing your hearing. What is worse is that the infection can go into your brain which is only a few milimeters below the inner ear which is obviously infected and is causing the pus and that can affect you very badly.

It is just not worth the risk as you will live to regret it later.

I have a couple more games that are very important and what would happen if i wait for another week?

If an infection develops you won't be well enough for your games at all.
You can take Calendula 30c to help but you must see an ENT specialist.

You feel strange things in your ears, feel fluid moving around, feel blocked this or that...

Because think ear drum has or had wounds. They are not clean, even if wounds have dried, after wound is still sticking over them.

If the infection was severe and hit the back side of ear-drum, problem gets even bigger.

Yes Mulain Oil would solve your problems. I consider Ear Infection as a syndrome because it always comes back.

All swimmer's infections start with fungal infaction and once the innerear is raw, bacteria invades.

Guranteed: How to protect your ears.

Mix rubbing alcohol and vinegar in half/half.

Before and after going to water put few drops in your ears. Don't worry about the liquid, alcohol would dry up your ears.

And time to time obtain Mullain Oil from web. Put few drops in your ears each week. This would clean your inner ear.
