breast cyst

However during last month, there is a big cycst on her left breast - ofcourse the biopsy showed its benign
Is it a reaction of bryonia?

My Mom aged 60 had a lump on her right breast near to the surcase last year - no pain but reddish and the doctor gave some antibiotics and other medicines , it went away.
This year a month ago it appeared again (little larger) and based on the Gyn's advice, we went to the sup. speciality hospital for cancer and got the mammography and Fine Needle aspiration biopsy which confirmed a Benign Cyst. Hoewver the Doc said its not 100% reliable and we have to go for removal of it and excisitional biopsy. Inthe meanwhile he prescribed some anitbiotics and the cyst shrank down to half of its size. Now it is neither increasing nor decreasing from the past one week. Doctor still prefers surgery.

I request all the experts here to please suggest whether it is possible to treat such in homeopathy / better go for surgery? If it is possible in homeo, then i will take her to a homeopath for full investigation. I just want to make sure. Please advise.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
the cysts are generally termed as fibro-adenoma. they are mostly benign. its possible to remove the lumps and also stop the tendency of formation of cysts in the future.

if you undergo a surgery, you can remove the cyst but cant stop the recurrance.

rishimba last decade
I am sorry, the cyst is on right breast.

So what would be the advisable method? To consult a homeopath and try Or get it surgically removed and consult a homeopath?

Thanks

Please, what is ur advice? Also i am giving her Ruta Grav 30 , based on one reply in this forum - in any way it affects the cyst?

chiru71 last decade
hi Chiru

you are getting conflicting advices here. in such cases, you have to use your judgement.

gavinimurthy last decade
Dear Chiru71,

Homeopathy can certainly cure these breast cysts. But to take away the tendency to the formation of these cysts would need a long term treatment. The cure would not be complete just with getting rid of these cysts.Because with correct homeopathic treatment, the old symptoms prior to the formation of these cysts would come back one after the other, only to be eliminated. This will take you to your childhood where one would end up with giving your constitutional medicine.

But homeopathy of the kind that i have described here is a slightly difficult art and would require a full fledged case taking. If you can find a classical homeopath who takes a detailed case and then prescribes very few remedies at a time, that will be best.Otherwise i suggest that you fill up the detailed questionnaire that you can find on the physostigma thread.

Till then, i think the suggestion made by Pradipde regarding Conium and Phytolacca is a good one and is based on empirical pathological conditions. What it means is that in cases of breast cysts, these two remedies along with some others have been found to be very useful.

What i suggest is that you take Phytolacca first for a week and see if there is any improvement. If there is an improvement, stick to it.If no improvement, then try Conium and see if there is an improvement. Then stick to the remedy which suits you more for some time and keep updating us.

In the meanwhile fill up the detailed questionnaire.

Dear Chiru71,

Here is a detailed questionnaire that you may use to give your mother's case.It will take some time and effort to fill it, but is needed for a complete case taking.

After having answered the above questions, you are requested to give a slightly detailed story of your life in a chronological order. Start with your earliest childhood and then proceed forward. Give all the incidents that have had a significant influence on you. Also describe how and what you felt when those incidents were happening. Also give a detailed history of the illnesses that you have had. Are any of your current symptoms related to any of your earlier illnesses – i.e. they started after that particular illness. Mention two or three happiest moments of your life and two or three saddest ones. What made you happy or sad in those situations?

Also mention the history of major illnesses in your parents, grandparents, their brothers and sisters, your close cousins and great grandparents. Illnesses like cancer, tuberculosis, psoriasis, asthma, eczema, gonorrhoea and other sexually transmitted diseases, rheumatism, heart ailments etc. should definitely be mentioned.

Purchase 5ml of both medicines. Then put 5 drops in 1/2 CUP OF WATER and let ur mom take that water at a time.ok If u still have problem in understand i can give u my ph no. U can conatct me. Ok

Thanks Pradipde, I got the point on dosage. One more question ,

Phytolacca 6 : 5 drops x 1/2cup water x 7days
Conium Mac 6 : 5 drops x 1/2 cup water x 7 days

you said 'Use both the medicines alternatively every week for 4 consequtive weeks and then reply.'

Does it mean that Phytolacca should be used for one week then Conium Mac next week? Or is it one day Phytolacca and next day Conium Mac ?

Thanks

Phytollacca one week then conium one week alternately.

OK

Don't depend on this Pradipde's prescriptions.
Most of the time he copies from the posts of other's by reading the archives.

He himself used medicines recklessly, and has become impotent on his own admission.

See his profile, by clicking his name on the green bar.

he also prescribes multiple medicines, and doesn't know a thing about 'proper' homeopathy.

Dear Murthy

Just to remind you what Moderator said to you:

Re: attn.moderator From moderator on 2006-10-30
Murthy,

You seem to be very touchy when people sling back the mud that you first slung. Should name calling be your sole perogative?

Idealy it wouldn't happen at all, as like I've said a lot lately (mostly to you), it doesn't help prove anything, it just makes the forum unpleasant. However, as you have started it:

You can't be aggresive and expect no retaliation.

You can't expect people to tolerate your outbursts, when you so obviously feel offended by theirs.

I feel that you would probably not behave this way in your face to face dealings with people, but only online, when what you say is typing, and everyone's reaction is just a story to be read. If you were so continuously aggressive in your 'off screen' life, I suspect you would (ironicly) be taking Arnica full time for the bruising inflicted on you by your neighbours.

Anyway, on to your comments:

The evolution / monkey one is more of an idiom than a direct insult. I fail to see how you could really be offended by this.

The handkerchief one was too subtle for me to get at first, but now I get it, I see your point. However, in light of the provocation, I would suggest you got off very lightly.

NO. I want to say that there is no bad guy. Mr. pradipde is trying to help people within the scope of his knowledge and experience.

Stop judging people and stop regulating this website. Stop your urge to become a vigilantee here. Leave this work to the owner of this website.

Dear pradipde

Your prescriptions are lacking some experience. In the begining I used to be like you.

Please watch the process of questions and answers and learn. You can always help patient as well prescribers by asking more questions to both.

Also many medicine told to patient may counter-cancel each others effect. And also patient pays a considerable amount to money to procure many medicines.

Thanks.

kuldeep last decade
Dear Murthy,
You are not a qualified homeopath...so don't try to be a policeman here. You need qualifications for that.

There are many gaps in your own learning. We don't want to end up having just this kind of debates all the time.
Besides, there is not just one way in homeopathy of treating the patient..there are more than one possibilities. You have also confirmed this in one of the posts about two Classical homeopaths also taking different routes.

We just finished a long debate..which resulted in unpleasantness. You would be best advised to give your way of treating the patient and leave it there without making comments that so and so is bad....or that so and so's way is useless.

If the reader likes your way..he/she will ask you more questions or respond to your questions and use your advise.

Some people who want to listen to just one advisor here...they say so.
(Like people saying...for Joe De Livera, for Dr. Deoshlok etc.). If they want to listen to you alone...they will say so.

Please stop this kind of approach before it again becomes a slinging match.

Keep this wonderful site 'a place of joy' to visit often.

Can't he defend himself?

You are intervening thinking that an injustice is done to him, and want to correct it.

Dear Gavini,

If u do not know about, all the details regarding me, what circumstances lead to my problem then why you comment.........

Who are u to comment on me!
U have got no right to interfere with my personal life.

This a forum in which patients and doctors exchange thoughts. There is nothing hard and fast about it.

U prescribed to a toddler hepar sulp which can cause suppuration coz hepar sulphur has so tendency. It might coz suppuration if there is problem in throat and it may not.But chances are most..... of suppuration in low potency.

When u prescribe medicines in homeopathy u should know either the case is cured or new symptoms appear, for which we have to give 2 nd prescription.

Sometimes accessory symptoms appear also.

There are also side effects of medicine.

And furthermore learn some manners when dealing with others........

Homeopathy is lacking behind in this world only because there is no unity between doctors to take new things. They stick to old thoughts of Hahnemann before understanding that hahnemaan at his time was best but with the advent of sophisticated gadgets it is possible to give new dimensions to homeopahty.

Theory of vital force is obsolete coz u cannot prove to science but u can surely define medicinal action by other things.

I will stop writing on this forum forever, coz i think keeping my knowledge to myself i can go the distance rather than get insulted from a person like u.

No body is perfect in this world even u are not. And if u are a true homeopath or believe in homeopathy then leave this forum coz true homeopathy believes in case taking and not in snapshot prescribing.

U also don't do, full case taking before prescribing medicines. Keynote prescribing was not introduced by hahnemann.

And without examinig a patient how can u prescribe if u think urself to be perfect doctor.

Nowhere in medical science it is written that u prescribe medicines or even suggest medicines to a patient before thoroughly examining the patient.

So stop finding faults with others when u yourself is not perfect.

If u think yourself to be Homeopathy Constable, then i will say there are inspectors and even DIG of homeopathy in this forum.

Goodbye!
