The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Has anyone else experience this?

My father had a total gastrectomy and a part of his esophagus (sphincter) removed this past Jan 16, 2006.

He has lost about 100 lbs since his surgery and in the past couple months has lost between an addiitonal 10 lbs (just the other day it was 4 lbs).

He hasn't been able to eat much and has been in and out of the hospital 3 times in the last 2 months. About 3 weeks ago, he came home with a TPN that is hooked up from 8 pm until 8 am each day of the week.

His biggest problem is bile (some call it mouth bile reflux) with gas and a burning in his esophagus.

He has tried different medications but nothing seems to help and the burning is quite unbearable.

I recently pruchased the Arnica 30c to try in the wet format. Of course, he tried it today and it caused sever nausea (so he says) but I don''t know how much he had ate today.

He really is looking for anyone who has had the same surgeries as him who can maybe provide some suggestions.
