HEAD

Head

Confusion of the head, , (after nine hours), etc.

Confusion and obscuration of the head, such as is caused by excessive physical weakness, especially in the morning,

Confusion of the head and attacks of giddiness (after 2 to 3 1/4 grains),

Confusion of the head, slight pressure in the frontal region, with difficult thought on going into the open air, at 4 P.M. (third and fourth days),

Confusion in the frontal region, spreading afterwards to the sight and hearing (after 2 grains),

Confusion in the forehead (soon), ; (second day),

Confusion of the forehead, preventing thought (after fifteen minutes),

Confusion in the forehead in the open air (first day),

Some confusion in the left side of the forehead,

Head confused, full, afterwards hot,

Head heavy, confused,

Giddiness, ; (after half an hour),

Giddy and delirious (after ten minutes),

Giddy and stupid,

Swimmings in the head,

Feels intoxicated immediately after a meal,

Head very hot; he frequently put his hands to his head, with loud cries,

The head seems encircled by a band (second day),

Slight pulsation in the brain,

A waving in the brain, as from violent throbbing of the arteries, with pressure in the forehead, most violent after stooping (after half an hour),

Headache

Confusion of the head, amounting even to pain,

Confusion of the head, increased in the open air, associated with pain in the forehead and temples (second day),

Obscuration of the head, constipation, and pain in the loins, (Case 28).

Giddiness and reticulated vision, with frontal headache on the right side, soon followed by pricking sensation in the arms, and thereafter viscid perspiration on them (one hour after 11 1/4 grains),

He complains of heaviness of the head and violent headache,

Headache, (Cases 1, 8, and 20), etc.

Headache for several hours,

Headache alternates with pain in the nape of the neck, (Case 8).

Violent headache, especially over the eyes (after several hours),

Constant violent headache,

Dull headache at the base of the brain,

Headache comes on in the room, while there had been no trace of it in the open air (after two hours),

Headache, as if the brain were shattered and shaken; when walking (after five hours),

Pressive stupefying headache, especially in the forehead, recurring in alternation with needlelike stitches, particularly on the left side (after four hours),

Pressive stupefying headache, especially in the whole forehead, which at last changed to an intermitting tearing (after ten hours and a half),

(Fine sticking pain in the head),

(Stitching, tearing headache), (after two hours),

Violent throbbing headache waking him at night, with violent throbbing in the carotids; the pain disappeared during the sleep which followed, and he awoke in the morning well,

Pain in the forehead, also after each dose, involving the parietal region and occiput,

Frontal headache on the left side, and amblyopia (after 4 1/4 to 4 3/4 grains),

Paroxysmal, at times contractive, confusing headache in the upper part of the forehead, with general discomfort, at another time freedom from all trouble, and ease, with excited fancies, the latter lasting much longer than the former condition (after one hour),

Pressive pain in the forehead, so that he wrinkled the skin (second day),

Pain, mostly pressive, in the region of the forehead and occiput, less in the parietals, and still more seldom in the encephalon,

Throbbing pain in the left frontal eminence (second day),

Headache after eating; pressure in the temples, and aching in the whole external head (after four hours and a half),

The pain in the temples is aggravated in the cold air, and relieved in the house (second day),

Pain in the occiput,

(Tearing headache in the occiput),

The pain concentrated itself in the sides of the occiput, which felt as if sore, relieved by pressure (second day),

Scalp

Gnawing pressure in the scalp, aggravated by moving it or pressing upon it (after fifteen hours),

Vertex

Pressure in the vertex and drawing in the nape of the neck, on turning the head (after three hours),

Crawling in the head, on the crown (after one hour),

Forehead

Heaviness in the forehead, especially on stooping,

Heaviness in the forehead, with a burning (after nine hours),

Tension in the forehead (second day),

The forehead feels full, as if screwed inward (second day),

Feeling of tension in the forehead,

Slight tension and warmth in the forehead,

Aching across the forehead and temples,

Pressure in the forehead,

Pressure and heat in the forehead, somewhat, relieved by nosebleed,

Sticking in the head, over the right eye, when coughing,

Throbbing in the frontal eminences (first day),

Throbbing and drawing in the right frontal eminence, aggravated by movement or stooping (second day),

Occiput

Tension in the occiput (second day),

External Head.
