Chest

Catarrhal symptoms in the chest; the air-passages seem to be covered with mucus (after a quarter of an hour),

Fulness in the chest,

Tensive pain across the chest, on standing upright (after twenty-four hours),

Pressure and pressing upon the chest (after seven and nine days),

Pressure first in the left then in the right chest, then in the ankle (after one hour),

Pressure first in the left chest and afterwards fine stitching in the right chest (after one hour),

Very great oppression in the breast,

Front.

Pain in the forepart of the chest, on stooping, at both sides of the sternum, as if the approximated ribs rubbed against each other painfully (after fifteen hours),

Tensive pain in the forepart of the chest, if while sitting he straightens himself up (after sixteen hours),

Pressure in the chest just behind the sternum, in the evening (second day),

Pressure in the region of the middle of the sternum, as with a sharp instrument (after twenty hours),

Pressure in the middle of the sternum, soon after eating (after twenty-four hours),

Oppression of the chest, with pressure in the pit of the stomach, aggravated by inspiration and suddenly changing to a sticking in the pit of the stomach (after two hours),

Sides.

Stitches in the left side (after a quarter and three hours),

Throbbing in the right side of the chest (after one hour and a half),

Mammae.

Milk entirely disappears from both breasts for several days (observed in a nursing woman, after taking Ignatia),

Stitches in the nipple on deep inspiration, with flatulent movements in the abdomen (after five hours),

Pulse

Pain upon the sternum as if beaten, even caused by touch (after fourteen hours),

Respiration

A sensation of anxiety and pressure in the chest awoke him at night; he was frequently obliged to take a deep breath, and was only able to sleep after an hour (sixth day),

Oppression of the chest and of respiration (after five hours),

Oppression of the chest, after midnight, as if the chest were too tight, whereby respiration is impeded (after twelve hours),

Frequent stitches in the side of the chest in the region of the last rib, when not breathing, rhythmical with the pulse,

(Is frequently obliged to take a deep breath, which momentarily relieves the pressure upon the chest),

Short breath, during sleep, with slow expiration,

Short respiration alternates with long, light with violent (after two hours),

All kinds of respiration alternate during sleep, short and slow, deep and light, intermitting and snoring,

Inspiration is impeded, as from a load lying upon the chest; expiration is just so much easier,

Breath fails him while walking, and if he stands still he is attacked by cough,

A sudden (not tickling) interruption of breathing in the upper part of the trachea, above the pit of the throat, which irresistibly provokes a short forcible cough, in the evening (after one hour),
