A pressure at first between the scapulae, afterwards a burning extending thence to the crest of the pelvis, alike during rest and motion; the burning is perceptible when touched by the hand,

A sharp pressure on the upper part of the back (thirty-fourth day),

Drawing pressure in the scapulae,

Pain as from a sprain in the left scapula,

Sticking and pressive tearing in the back near the right scapula (tenth and thirty-eighth days),

Sticking pain between the scapulae, with oppression and anxiety in the chest, almost only when sitting, so that she is obliged to rise and walk about,

Violent sticking pain as from a sprain in the left scapula, extending into the chest,

Dull sticking in the left scapula,

Pinching sticking in both scapulae,

A stitch extending from the tip of the left scapula to the pit of the stomach, during hard work (after seven days),

Sharp tearing stitch under the right scapula,

Pain in the small of the back as from flatulent distension, in the morning in bed, with a feeling as if bubbles accumulated at the small of the back, associated with urgent desire for stool, all of which disappeared after passing wind,

Violent pain in the small of the back, as if broken, on moving about,

Drawing pain in the small of the back,

Violent, constant drawing in the small of the back, alternating with pulsation in it, only relieved when lying,

Sore pressure in the region of the right kidney (sixth day),

Stitching ascending at times from the small of the back through the left side of the abdomen to the chest,

Stitches in the region of both kidneys (eleventh and twenty-ninth days),

Jerking pain in the small of the back on stooping, so that for a long time he is unable to stand erect,

Sacral.

Tickling weary pain above the sacrum,
