Desires and aversions

Desire for sweets; oysters, which disagree.

Aversion to coffee; tobacco smoke; boiled, warm food; bread (rye); meat.

Canine hunger; the more he eats, the more he craves; head aches if he dose not eat.

Hunger, but a few mouthfuls fill him up; constant feeling of satiety.

Thirst with disgust for drink; at night drinks little but often.

Want of thirst.

Position etc

Motion 24, 32. Walking 3, 17, 26, 33. Exertion 26, 27. Exercise 4. Stretching 18, 27. Rising 2, 3, 31. Rest 32, 34. Lying 2, 3, 21, 27; on left side 27. Sitting 20; bent 17. Stooping 3, 23, 27. Standing upright 18. In bed 32.

While at rest debility is mostly felt, yet averse to exercise.

Worse on beginning to walk (stiffness); better continuing to walk; child wants to be carried.

Morning 1, 11, 12, 16, 27. From 4 to 8 P.M. generally worse, afterward better, except the debility; also 2, 3, 27, 40. Evening 5, 20, 29, 33, 40. Night 5, 21, 25, 27, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 40, 44, 46. Day 1, 25, 26, 27, 37, 46.
