CHEST

Chest

Pneumonia on the right side (possibly caused by dashing with cold water),

Oppression of the chest and difficult breathing, more while sitting than while walking,

Violent stitch at the heart, taking away the breath,

Pulse and respiration imperceptible,

Respiration short and rapid (after half an hour),

Difficult respiration, especially on ascending steps, on beginning to walk, and on loud talking,

Sobbing respiration (second day),

Pulse 140 (after twelve hours); 130 (second day); 100 (third day); 80 (fourth day),

Pulse excited,

Pulse excited, hard, not compressible, 60 to the minute (in health, 80); afterwards sank to 48 (after half an hour),

Extremely small, thready pulse,

Pulse contracted (after two hours),
