GENERALITIES

Fatigue

Excessive fatigue after conversation.

Chill, Fever and Sweat.

Chill 10 A.M., finger-tips numb, or in the evening over the back; only on head, with thirst; slight, but with chattering teeth, as from convulsion of masseter muscles.

Heat from 4 to 5 P.M., with sweat.

Burning heat in limbs, mostly in hands, every evening.

Anxious heat, as if sweat would break out.

Thirst after the heat.

Sweat smells mouldy, musty; debilitating, night and morning, most profuse on neck; debilitating, from least movement.

Hectic fever.

Attacks

Every morning 3. Every evening 40. Gradual increase and decrease 3, 8, 17, 26.

Sides.

Right 18, 32. Left 3, 6, 28, 36. Above downward 31.

Contact, Injuries, etc.

Touch 17. Pressure 17, 19.

Generalities

Pressive and drawing pains, esp. in limbs, gradually becoming very violent, and decreasing in the same way.

Affections in general of l. chest; l. side; trachea and inner chest; upper part of chest; inner surface of thighs.

Consumption.

agg. After moving; lying on side; using the voice; from motion; when descending.

amel. When lying on back; from loosening garments; from walking (except weakness).

Attacks of epilepsy (in children during dentition), with retraction of thumbs, and tossing about of body; or else with throwing back of head, paleness of face, convulsive movements of hands and eyes, and loss of consciousness; the attacks come on sometimes in evening.

Excessive emaciation.

Pain as if paralysed in extremities.

Paralysis (of arms and legs).

Great heaviness and indolence.

Excessive dejection (weakness), and physical and moral depression, with trembling, esp. during gentle exercise (or when talking), and with disposition to perspire easily.

Profuse debilitating sweat, night and morning; hot, even on slight movement; with mouldy, putrid smell.

Nervous excitement.

Hysterical spasms, with pain in abdomen and in diaphragm.

Insupportable uneasiness in body.

The sufferings seem to disappear during a walk, with the exception of the depression, which is then excessive; they reappear as soon as the patient is at rest.

Extreme prostration; must sit or lie down continually.

Faintness in going down stairs; can go up without difficulty.

Pains commence lightly, increase gradually to a very high degree, and decrease again as slowly.

Shooting pinching, alternately, in various spots of the body.

Pressure with heaviness now in one bone, then in another.

Heaviness in all the limbs, weariness in the chest and alternately, violent anxieties.

Bruised pain in the limbs, and especially also above the sacrum.

Paralysis in the left arm and foot caused by fright; it passed off during the night.

After walking in the open air, internal heat, especially in the chest and abdomen, without thirst.

Many of the pains, especially those of the pressive-drawing kind, begin gently, slowly increase to a high degree, and then decrease just as slowly.

The ailments seem to disappear while walking; when at rest they at once return; only the weariness is most sensible while walking.

It causes emaciation and consumption.

Lack of strength, as if her lower limbs were bruised.

Excessive clumsiness; he continually wishes to sit or lie down, and on sitting down, he, as it were, sinks down upon the chair, because he lacks the strength necessary to do this slowly.
