Is it ever possible to stop vomiting?

My husband and my 4-year old have the same problem: when sick and start vomiting, it is never ending. I have tried different times different remedies, but never found any help. Is it even possible to find?

It is not food poisoning, it is not violent vomiting, no diarrhea. The stomach just needs to get twisted up even thought there is nothing in there. I think it is not a question of a desease, it is just them, because when all the family has the same sickness, the others get easily the vomiting part.

My 4-year old had that yesterday. This was very typical:
He was complaining all morning about stomach ache, did not cry for it. Was wondering and walking about, was feeling uncomfortable. 37,5 degrees. Did not eat, but drunk juice. Was burbing all day long.
1. Vomited for the first time 2 pm. Every time gets a relief for 30 minutes, then the unconfortable feeling and nausea came back. Every time wanted to drink a lot, but I gave him water with sugar and salt 1 dl slowly.
2. Vomited 3 pm. A relief. 1 dl water.
3. Vomited 4 pm. Drinking a bit.
4. Vomited 5 pm. Nothing in there. Drinking a bit.
5. Vomited 6 pm. Nothing in the stomach. Slept afterwards for two hours.
6. Vomited 9 pm. Before that he was awake for 30 min, and drunk 2 dl of the water within 30 min. Vomited a lot of water.
7. last vomiting at 9.30. Quite lot of water. You could hear how the stomamch is being twisted around.

Before the first vomiting I gave Ipec 30 c. After the second vomit I gave Pulsatilla 30 c. Around the fifth vomit I gave ANTIM TART 30 c three doses every 15 minutes, as well as once before the sixth vomit.

Please suggest what I should have given? Is the potency wrong? Is there two few doses?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Ipec should have worked but in 200c potency.

next time he has nausea, please give him Ipec 200c three doses at 1 hours interval.

Thanks Rishimba,

I will try that. How many times can I give it?
But what if the vomiting starts (because I gave Ipec too late or something), what should I give then?

no problem, even if he starts vomitting, you can give him Ipec 200c every 1 to 2 hours till his nausea subsides. give him till he feels relieved but if he is not responding even after 5 or 6 doses, its of no use.

This even I have tried many times. I have tried Ipecac 200 also. But the vomittings do not stop.
After or even prior when the feeling starts, a couple of doses of Pulsatilla 30 alternating with arg nit 30 every 15 minutes work sometimes. Let the child do not lie down for an hour but sit up with support.
Lying down increases the nausea.

Use Organic Neem Oil. That will stop vomiting.

Hi Ms Reversed,

I have been spending a lot of time trying to find out what is 'neem', but I cannot find any translation in any other language. Does anyone know if that oil is sold in Europe too and what might be the brandname in French?

Dear snowflake

It is also known as margosa oil; nim oil.

French translations:

Azadirac de 1'Inde, margosier, margousier
